It feels so nice to be home with my family. Thank you Jodi for keeping everyone updated. You are such a great friend!!!!Allison and I came home on Saturday, we stayed one extra day and I’m glad we did. I’m nice and rested and feeling great. Hand Made Spaceship – Why Do I Buy Toys??

We got a new toilet this weekend and the girls got a new toy… all in one. NO They aren’t playing in the toilet but they ARE playing in the box that the toilet came in. Seriously these kids have enough toys to label them spoiled but yet they play with things that aren’t toys. But when they saw this big box, they knew it could be turned into something fun…………………. like a Spaceship! They got their markers out and began decorating and writing on their Spaceship and as you can see from the picture above it’s called “SPACESHIP STAR”. That is Holly’s handwriting! Me & My Silly Girls

We spent the weekend at my parents while Steve was traveling and before we left I wanted to leave some cute pictures of the girls on my mother’s camera. They were so silly. The camera settings were off at first so some of them are blurry but they were too cute to not post. Allison was being silly closing her eyes. Holly thinks she’s a model, always striking a pose. Allison isn’t quite sure what to do. She figured it out. lol

We aren’t Irish and don’t celebrate St. Patrick’s Day but somehow this Leprechaun still managed to sneak into our house and hang himself up on the wall….. Just another one of Allison’s FUN Kindergarten Art’s & Crafts projects. I think she did a pretty good job!
Day Two of Spring Break School Vacation {Daddy’s Birthday}

It’s Day two of the girl’s Spring Break and today we celebrated my husband’s birthday. We usually go out for dinner to celebrate a birthday but we couldn’t tonight because Holly had softball practice and Allison had soccer practice so since the girls are home today, we decided to take Daddy to lunch for his birthday. He chose Gregg’s and no one minded. They have a special on Tuesday that when you order from the regular menu you get a drink and a desert for an extra $3.50. That’s a great deal since the drinks alone are $2.50 and the desserts are $6. So we took two slices of cake home to celebrate daddy’s birthday after practice. Allison The Snow Princess

Allison still loves Dora. She doesn’t watch the show too much, but she loves Dora’s books. She has a pile of them sitting in her bed that she reads to Eeka at night. She knows most of the stories herself now after hearing them so much. I love listening to her ‘read’ the stories because she is right on with so many of the details. Today we were in Job Lot and we went by the kids book aisle. I noticed some Dora books and went through them all to see what she had and didn’t have. We ended up getting 6 more but they were only $1.00 each so why not! Needless to say, she’s excited to read to Eeka tonight. So what does…
