Mystic Aquarium
ByKarenThis weekend we visited Mystic Aquarium. We received free press passes, I just have to blog about our trip. Easy enough considering it saved us over $100!! Yup you read that right, had we paid for all four of us it would of cost us over $100. $28 per adult and $20 per child 3 and over so we would of had to pay for Allison too. Plus they charged $3.00 to go on the Voyage adventure (Holly and I went) and then $3.00 each for us to feed the birds (we got 3 sticks of food). Total = $111 for 3 hours. Steve would of never paid it, I said we would of because the girls enjoyed it, but I’m glad we didn’t! lol…

We are home……..
ByKarenIt feels so nice to be home with my family. Thank you Jodi for keeping everyone updated. You are such a great friend!!!!Allison and I came home on Saturday, we stayed one extra day and I’m glad we did. I’m nice and rested and feeling great. I enjoyed my time with her in the hospital, but it’s so good to be home with Holly and Steve now. My in laws left Sunday and we’ve spend the day together as a family and it’s been great. Allison is doing fantastic. She is such a good baby. She is eating a lot and sleeping a lot too. Our first night home went very well. She woke up every 2.5-3 hours to eat, but went right back to…

Halloween Bowling Party
ByKarenI went for my bi-annual scrapbook weekend with Jodi today, even though Steve didn’t seem to pleased that I still went. I just know that if I put it off any longer, it’ll never happen this fall and I really need the weekend away and with my bff Jodi. He’ll be fine because my parents will be around to check on them and even cook dinner all weekend. The girls were invited to a bowling Halloween party so my mom took them. I asked her to send me pictures because I felt bad I wouldn’t see them all dressed up. Happy Birthday to Me!
ByKarenI turned 37 today. Yup 37! I feel like it was just yesterday that I was turning 30 and now it’s 7 years later. Time really flies, especially when you have kids. My mother had us over for dinner and cake this past weekend for my birthday. It was nice. The girls loved signing happy birthday to me. They are such good helpers. LOL Tonight Steve took us out to dinner, we went to the bar in Pawcatuck, we use to go to all the time before kids. I love their burgers so I was happy to go there. Pretty Dresses from Italy
ByKarenMy mom went to Italy last month – alone! I’m so proud of her. She had a great time but was very homesick too, which I figured she would be but I’m so glad she went because she has a lot of family there. She had fun shopping and bought the girls these really pretty dresses….. This picture was taken outside Allison’s school the day before her last day. It was the best smile I was going to get!

Allison’s Tool Belt
ByKarenI have a new babysitter that comes over on Mondays and Fridays for a few hours in the morning to play with Allison while I get a little work done. Her name is Katie and she is really nice and Allison loves her! They were playing one day and Allison pulled out her tools – she LOVES her tools! Katie made her an adorable tool belt. She used a regular belt and put all her tools on it. Allison absolutely loved it and she looked adorable, as usual.
