My Baby is 10 Today!
ByKarenHappy 10th Birthday to my baby girl Allison. I can’t believe she’s 10! I’m so proud of the person she has become. She’s a super smart, loving, empathetic, fun kid that loves gymnastics, makeup, music, MATH and ZEBRAs! I love her imagination and how much she wants to be just like me. Back To School Time
ByKaren“It’s the most wonderful time of the Year!!” Oh wait, that’s the holidays not back to school. Bad Me. LOL Yesterday was the first day of School and at a new school too! They girls were very excited. Especially Allison because she entered Kindergarten. She’s finally in the same school as her sister. She feels awesome! Holly started 2nd grade and was a little nervous and cried for a little bit before she went inside but she’s in the same class as our neighbor so that really helped her. She got over it pretty quickly in the end. We took a few pictures at the house first… And a YIPPEE Picture as well – though I’m thinking mom was more “YIPPEE” than the girls were….
Cowgirl Boots are COOL when you are 7
ByKarenCowgirl boots are cool when you are 7 and 37. But this 7 year old recently discovered just how cool they are! Holly received the above pink cowgirl boots a few years ago from a friend – they were a hand me down. They didn’t fit her and pretty much were pushed to the back of her closet. One weekend I cleaned our her closet and they resurfaced again and………… she hasn’t taken them off since. This picture was taking on her 7th birthday and the bus driver thought she got these boots for her birthday. I explained that they were old and had been ‘rediscovered’ after some cleaning. Holly wanted to wear them to school but I said ‘No, your feet will hurt…
Day Five of Spring Break School Vacation {Birthday Party}
ByKarenToday was day 5 of the girl’s spring break and the last day (not counting the weekend). To end the week we had a birthday party for Allison at AC Moore. She had her party there last year and loved it so much she asked to go there again. I don’t mind because not only is it affordable, but the staff is great and she can pick her own craft. Before we began, she had them write their name on the table (which was covered with kraft paper) and also to draw a picture. A lot of her friends drew pictures of zebras which I thought was adorable! Me & My Silly Girls
ByKarenWe spent the weekend at my parents while Steve was traveling and before we left I wanted to leave some cute pictures of the girls on my mother’s camera. They were so silly. The camera settings were off at first so some of them are blurry but they were too cute to not post. Allison was being silly closing her eyes. Holly thinks she’s a model, always striking a pose. Allison isn’t quite sure what to do. She figured it out. lol
