Bob and Melissa’s Visit Over Winter Break
ByKarenOur friends Bob and Melissa have added to their family over the past year. They welcomed a Foster Daughter into their home that happens to be the same age as Holly and Melissa delivered baby Lauren in June to make them a family of 4! Over the Christmas break they drove up from PA to visit for a few days with us. This was the second time we met the girls and Holly and Allison were very excited to have Trinity over to play with their toys and have a sleep over. My Baby is 10 Today!
ByKarenHappy 10th Birthday to my baby girl Allison. I can’t believe she’s 10! I’m so proud of the person she has become. She’s a super smart, loving, empathetic, fun kid that loves gymnastics, makeup, music, MATH and ZEBRAs! I love her imagination and how much she wants to be just like me. The older she gets the more she looks like her daddy and while she’d rather look like me, I’m so glad to have a glimpse of him everyday. I love her to the moon and back and so did her daddy!!! There was nothing more that he wanted than to see her turn 10, 16, 18, 21 and so many more birthdays. But he’s with her every day, I just know it! Happy…

Essex Steam Train
ByKarenWe lived in southern RI/CT for about 12 years. We’ve been parents for about 8 years and we have driven by the Essex Steam train hundreds of times but we never took the girls on the train until this Spring. We knew we’d be moving further away and it would make it even more of a distance so we made sure we set aside some time while packing to take them. I’m glad we did – they loved it! It’s not the train to New York, which they really want to take with Mommy some day, but it was still a nice, fun train ride. It reminded me of when I was in 6th grade. And Baby makes FOUR!!!!!
ByKarenWe will be a complete family of FOUR in April!!! The newest edition to the Wilmes Family will arrive the end of April and we couldn’t be happier. Today was our first doctor’s appointment and we had an ultrasound and was able to see little Baby W for the first time. It’s little arms and legs were moving around like crazy. A very active baby, guess this one will be just like Holly!! It was so great to see the baby and now it feels so much more real, even though my belly has already begun to grow, this just reassures me that everything is going well.
