Holly’s New Coat
Holly has gone through a few coats this winter. The one she had from last year that fortunately still fit her, was taken from Gymnastics (I’m sure by accident) and never returned. Then I bought her a nice one at JCPenny which she didn’t like but she had to wear anyways. And then she got a new one for her birthday that she liked better. In the end she didn’t like either one of them and conveniently broke the zipper on one of them. LOL I think these kids sometimes are smarter than me. Fortunately, I had just received an email about reviewing a Rothschild Coat. so I was happy to not have to buy her another coat. The only thing was I didn’t get…

My Surfer Girl and Swimmer Girl
I love these two girls! This is my surfer girl in one of her cute bikini’s….. it has zebra print on it – of course! And my swimmer girl who still dances even in the pool! (please ignore the color of the water, it’s not really green it’s just the reflection from the bottom of the pool! Looks horrible, I know!)

Saying Good Night to Daddy….
Since we became parents, Steve has always given the girls a good night hug in kiss once they were in bed. It’s just something he always made sure he did. It sounds trivial, but it was important to him to kiss them good night and remind them how much he loved them. HE LOVED THEM SO MUCH! Tonight the girls said good night to daddy for the last time at home. Tomorrow Steve will be transferred to a Hospice Home where he can be cared for by people who can make him more comfortable than we can here. Mark and I tried our best but we are at a point where we need to hand it over to someone else. They will be giving him…

Holly’s First Communion
Holly’s First Communion Holly made her first communion this weekend and she looked absolutely beautiful. She told me after she got dressed that she felt like she was getting married. After her saying that I couldn’t keep that thought out of my head and when we were in church I thought of it and had even more tears in my eyes. Before we know it, we’ll be back there with her in a white dress again. But the ceremony was beautiful and I love the new church we belong too. Holly also did a little reading and she did so awesome. We were so proud of her and it was a beautiful day! It’s amazing how fast she is growing up!! I seriously feel like…

Allison The Snow Princess
Allison still loves Dora. She doesn’t watch the show too much, but she loves Dora’s books. She has a pile of them sitting in her bed that she reads to Eeka at night. She knows most of the stories herself now after hearing them so much. I love listening to her ‘read’ the stories because she is right on with so many of the details. Today we were in Job Lot and we went by the kids book aisle. I noticed some Dora books and went through them all to see what she had and didn’t have. We ended up getting 6 more but they were only $1.00 each so why not! Needless to say, she’s excited to read to Eeka tonight. So what does…
