A Trip to the Disney Store at the Emerald Square Mall
ByKarenWhile I was in California for the premiere of PLANES, I had a chance to visit the Disney store. It was so beautiful and I love walking through that store. We used to have one at the Warwick Mall but after the flood a few years ago, they never came back to the mall. So the closest one is at the Emerald Square mall. Allison’s Cursive Writing
ByKarenAllison wants to learn everything Holly learns. When Holly was learning to do math in Kindergarten, Allison learned to do math. When Holly was learning to count by 5’s and 10’s. Allison learned. Allison then figured out how to count by 2’s just by the logic that it was every other number, no one taught her. Allison is smart, and hopefully will continue to enjoy learning new things as she gets older and won’t push school work aside for something else. Holly is in 2nd grade now and she is learning to write cursive and is loving it. Holly has very neat printing and her cursive is looking to be neat as well. She’s still working on it. Pretty Dresses from Italy
ByKarenMy mom went to Italy last month – alone! I’m so proud of her. She had a great time but was very homesick too, which I figured she would be but I’m so glad she went because she has a lot of family there. She had fun shopping and bought the girls these really pretty dresses….. This picture was taken outside Allison’s school the day before her last day. It was the best smile I was going to get!
Allison’s Trip to the Dentist
ByKarenWhen Holly was little(er) and I took her to the Dentist for the first time, she completly freaked out. She didn’t want to open her mouth because she was scared they were going to hurt her. We have one of the nicest dental hygenist and she has twins the same age as Holly so she knew exactly how to handle children. But it didn’t work, Holly wanted nothing to do with it. Fast forward 3 years and she still doesn’t like the Dentist and I make Steve take her because she tries to run out of the room. It’s rather amusing and stressful all at the same time. And then there is Allison…………. Allison has always been pretty easy going, not afraid of anything really….
