Allison’s Tool Belt

I have a new babysitter that comes over on Mondays and Fridays for a few hours in the morning to play with Allison while I get a little work done. Her name is Katie and she is really nice and Allison loves her! They were playing one day and Allison pulled out her tools – she LOVES her tools! Katie made her an adorable tool belt. She used a regular belt and put all her tools on it. Allison absolutely loved it and she looked adorable, as usual.

Day Two of Spring Break School Vacation {Daddy’s Birthday}

It’s Day two of the girl’s Spring Break and today we celebrated my husband’s birthday. We usually go out for dinner to celebrate a birthday but we couldn’t tonight because Holly had softball practice and Allison had soccer practice so since the girls are home today, we decided to take Daddy to lunch for his birthday. He chose Gregg’s and no one minded. They have a special on Tuesday that when you order from the regular menu you get a drink and a desert for an extra $3.50. That’s a great deal since the drinks alone are $2.50 and the desserts are $6. So we took two slices of cake home to celebrate daddy’s birthday after practice. Seeing Santa 2012

I am not a big fan of the mall or the craziness that is happening there at the holidays. Plus we don’t live close enough to one to make me want to drag the girls there to take a picture. Call me lazy – but I just hate that place at the holidays! So I’m happy that we now belong to the Westerly Yacht club and each year they have a children’s christmas party and Santa is there, of course! Pretty Dresses from Italy

My mom went to Italy last month – alone! I’m so proud of her. She had a great time but was very homesick too, which I figured she would be but I’m so glad she went because she has a lot of family there. She had fun shopping and bought the girls these really pretty dresses….. This picture was taken outside Allison’s school the day before her last day. It was the best smile I was going to get!

Day Four of Spring Break School Vacation {Beauty Makeovers, Softball and Birthday}

Today was day 4 of the girls Spring Break. It was so cold and windy today….. not crazy about this weather but it’s better than the rain we had yesterday! At least the sun was out today. Today was Allison’s 7th birthday and she woke up very excited about the day. But not just because it was her birthday but because we were going to Empire Beauty School for a day of Princess makeovers!!! Holly and Allison were 2 of 8 girls, I mean princesses, that were going to get their hair, makeup and nails done! It went very well…. Allison ready to go! Holly started with her nails….
