Allison still loves Dora. She doesn’t watch the show too much, but she loves Dora’s books. She has a pile of them sitting in her bed that she reads to Eeka at night. She knows most of the stories herself now after hearing them so much. I love listening to her ‘read’ the stories because she is right on with so many of the details. Today we were in Job Lot and we went by the kids book aisle. I noticed some Dora books and went through them all to see what she had and didn’t have. I turned 37 today. Yup 37! I feel like it was just yesterday that I was turning 30 and now it’s 7 years later. Time really flies, especially when you have kids. My mother had us over for dinner and cake this past weekend for my birthday. It was nice. The girls loved signing happy birthday to me. They are such good helpers. LOL Tonight Steve took us out to dinner, we went to the bar in Pawcatuck, we use to go to all the time before kids. I love their burgers so I was happy to go there. Allison’s Kindergarten Birthday Party

Allison has the first of many birthday celebrations today. Since it was school vacation this week, I figured it was the perfect time for her to have a party with some of her Kindergarten friends. Since I have a boot on my foot and getting around is a big hassle, I convinced here to have the party somewhere else so mommy didn’t have to do all the work. We agreed with AC Moore for an Arts & Crafts party as long as she could do something with Zebra Print. She was thrilled with the idea and couldn’t wait for the day to come. Day Five of Spring Break School Vacation {Birthday Party}

Today was day 5 of the girl’s spring break and the last day (not counting the weekend). To end the week we had a birthday party for Allison at AC Moore. She had her party there last year and loved it so much she asked to go there again. I don’t mind because not only is it affordable, but the staff is great and she can pick her own craft. Before we began, she had them write their name on the table (which was covered with kraft paper) and also to draw a picture. A lot of her friends drew pictures of zebras which I thought was adorable!
