It feels so nice to be home with my family. Thank you Jodi for keeping everyone updated. You are such a great friend!!!!Allison and I came home on Saturday, we stayed one extra day and I’m glad we did. I’m nice and rested and feeling great. Day One of Spring Break School Vacation {Shopping}

  We are on school vacation this week and I promised the girls we’d do at least one fun thing a day but I do still have to work.  They love going to the mall, well Holly does (Allison prefers to not walk around too much) and they had some Easter money burning a hole in their pockets so we had to go spend it! Plus I needed to go to the Cox Cable store in the mall so it worked out well. Big Summer Adventure – Getting Their Ears Pierced

Holly has been hesitant for a while about getting her ears pierced.  But when she noticed her friend Katie had her ears pierced and had mickey mouse earrings, she decided she definitely wanted her’s done.  We had to wait until the summertime because her dance recital was at the end of the school year and she can’t wear earrings during the recital.  She was OK with this because that gave her time to digest the fact that she was going to do it. Cowgirl Boots are COOL when you are 7

  Cowgirl boots are cool when you are 7 and 37.  But this 7 year old recently discovered just how cool they are!  Holly received the above pink cowgirl boots a few years ago from a friend – they were a hand me down.  They didn’t fit her and pretty much were pushed to the back of her closet.  One weekend I cleaned our her closet and they resurfaced again and………… she hasn’t taken them off since. This picture was taking on her 7th birthday and the bus driver thought she got these boots for her birthday.  I explained that they were old and had been ‘rediscovered’ after some cleaning. Holly wanted to wear them to school but I said ‘No, your feet will hurt…
