We got a new toilet this weekend and the girls got a new toy… all in one. NO They aren’t playing in the toilet but they ARE playing in the box that the toilet came in. Seriously these kids have enough toys to label them spoiled but yet they play with things that aren’t toys. But when they saw this big box, they knew it could be turned into something fun…………………. like a Spaceship! They got their markers out and began decorating and writing on their Spaceship and as you can see from the picture above it’s called “SPACESHIP STAR”. That is Holly’s handwriting! I have a new babysitter that comes over on Mondays and Fridays for a few hours in the morning to play with Allison while I get a little work done. Her name is Katie and she is really nice and Allison loves her! They were playing one day and Allison pulled out her tools – she LOVES her tools! Katie made her an adorable tool belt. She used a regular belt and put all her tools on it. Allison absolutely loved it and she looked adorable, as usual.
My mom went to Italy last month – alone! I’m so proud of her. She had a great time but was very homesick too, which I figured she would be but I’m so glad she went because she has a lot of family there. She had fun shopping and bought the girls these really pretty dresses….. This picture was taken outside Allison’s school the day before her last day. It was the best smile I was going to get!
Happy 10th Birthday to my baby girl Allison. I can’t believe she’s 10! I’m so proud of the person she has become. She’s a super smart, loving, empathetic, fun kid that loves gymnastics, makeup, music, MATH and ZEBRAs! I love her imagination and how much she wants to be just like me. The older she gets the more she looks like her daddy and while she’d rather look like me, I’m so glad to have a glimpse of him everyday. I love her to the moon and back and so did her daddy!!! There was nothing more that he wanted than to see her turn 10, 16, 18, 21 and so many more birthdays. But he’s with her every day, I just know it! Happy…
Have you heard of Lollipop Seeds? I hadn’t until Friday. Allison had to go to the dentist and while there they told us about how the Easter Bunny sometimes brings Lollipop Seeds the day before Easter which you then spread on the ground and when the Easter Bunny comes, he spreads his magic on them and Lollipop’s grown. Doesn’t that sound cool? So the ladies at the office told my girls that they’d get in touch with the EB and ask him to bring us some Lollipop seeds. We were going to my inlaws for the weekend and we were really excited when we got there and realized he did indeed drop off some Lollipop seeds!!! I guess the dentist has a direct link to…
Allison has the first of many birthday celebrations today. Since it was school vacation this week, I figured it was the perfect time for her to have a party with some of her Kindergarten friends. Since I have a boot on my foot and getting around is a big hassle, I convinced here to have the party somewhere else so mommy didn’t have to do all the work. We agreed with AC Moore for an Arts & Crafts party as long as she could do something with Zebra Print. She was thrilled with the idea and couldn’t wait for the day to come. They did such a great job at AC Moore with the kids and I was very impressed with the party. The kids…
