My Baby is 10 Today!
ByKarenHappy 10th Birthday to my baby girl Allison. I can’t believe she’s 10! I’m so proud of the person she has become. She’s a super smart, loving, empathetic, fun kid that loves gymnastics, makeup, music, MATH and ZEBRAs! I love her imagination and how much she wants to be just like me. Pretty Dresses from Italy
ByKarenMy mom went to Italy last month – alone! I’m so proud of her. She had a great time but was very homesick too, which I figured she would be but I’m so glad she went because she has a lot of family there. She had fun shopping and bought the girls these really pretty dresses….. This picture was taken outside Allison’s school the day before her last day. It was the best smile I was going to get!

Making Pizza With Nonnie
ByKarenMy mother is a great cook. And I’m not just saying this because she reads my blog. She really is a great cook! The girls think so too though most times if you ask Allison who is the best cook she will say “Mommy!” and then “Nonnie!”. I know I’m not a better cook than my mother, but I’m happy to hear I’m Allison’s favorite cook! One thing she makes that is really yummy is her pizza! And she makes it every Friday. It’s funny because my aunt, her sister, used to make pizza all the time and it was awesome. My mother never made it but probably because her sister did. Allison’s Kindergarten Birthday Party
ByKarenAllison has the first of many birthday celebrations today. Since it was school vacation this week, I figured it was the perfect time for her to have a party with some of her Kindergarten friends. Since I have a boot on my foot and getting around is a big hassle, I convinced here to have the party somewhere else so mommy didn’t have to do all the work. We agreed with AC Moore for an Arts & Crafts party as long as she could do something with Zebra Print. She was thrilled with the idea and couldn’t wait for the day to come. Day Five of Spring Break School Vacation {Birthday Party}
ByKarenToday was day 5 of the girl’s spring break and the last day (not counting the weekend). To end the week we had a birthday party for Allison at AC Moore. She had her party there last year and loved it so much she asked to go there again. I don’t mind because not only is it affordable, but the staff is great and she can pick her own craft. Before we began, she had them write their name on the table (which was covered with kraft paper) and also to draw a picture. A lot of her friends drew pictures of zebras which I thought was adorable! We are home……..
ByKarenIt feels so nice to be home with my family. Thank you Jodi for keeping everyone updated. You are such a great friend!!!!Allison and I came home on Saturday, we stayed one extra day and I’m glad we did. I’m nice and rested and feeling great. I enjoyed my time with her in the hospital, but it’s so good to be home with Holly and Steve now. My in laws left Sunday and we’ve spend the day together as a family and it’s been great. Allison is doing fantastic. She is such a good baby. She is eating a lot and sleeping a lot too. Our first night home went very well. She woke up every 2.5-3 hours to eat, but went right back to…
