We are dry………

The ceiling is finally dry and the basement as well. I felt like I was in a wind tunnel for 3 days, I don’t know if I could of taken one more day with all the noise from the blowers, but thankfully they took them away yesterday morning. We were hoping to get started with the repairs to the chimney and ceiling right away, but since it took so long to dry out, we can’t get an appointment until next week so it’s going to take a little longer than we hoped. Oh well, it’s out of our control. We have a tarp on the roof so at least if it rains (which it isn’t supposed to) we are all set this time.

Holly and I have been hanging out at home a lot this week and playing. She had on her princess dress yesterday, it looks so cute on her. She played most of the day in it as you can see below.

I’m so glad she likes to play dress up and has an imagination. Everyday we see more and more of how much of an imagination she really has. Lately we’ve been looking at all the birds in the yard and she insists that she sees a kitty cat and a momma cat. Steve nor I can see this cat, but she says it’s there so we just go along with it. I think it’s cute. This morning when Steve asked her if the kitty cat was outside she said “no, kitty cat home sleeping”. How cute is that?!

I’ve been enjoying my time with her this week and I will truly miss our one on one time everyday, but I’m so excited to meet Baby Sister and introduce her to Holly. I really hope that Holly is happy to have her around but I do know that if she isn’t at first, she will be eventually.

My blogging may get less and less for a little while after I get home from the hospital, but I’ll try my best to keep you all updated on how things are going. We keep saying that Holly has no idea how her world is going to change next week, but in reality we don’t really know how our world is going to change either so I just need to take one day at a time and do what I can each day and nothing more. But don’t worry, I’ll be taking LOTS of pictures and will share them as soon as I can.

Have a great weekend everyone!! If you live in New England, it’s supposed to be BEAUTIFUL and I’m so happy to see the sun!! Enjoy!!!!
