More Dancing Holly…

I know it’s been a month since I updated, sorry! We’ve had a busy month and now the pool is opened so lots to do.Here are some pictures of the girls.

This weekend I spent with my Best Friend Jodi in Mystic at a Scrappin Girls Weekend Getaway. Ok, it wasn’t called that, it’s really just an After Labor Day Crop, but we like to call it a Scrappin Girls Weekend Getaway because that’s what it was for these two SAHM’s. We had a really good time. Jodi left NH around 11am and arrived at my house for some coffee and birthday cake around 2pm. Saturday was her BIRTHDAY (HAPPY BIRTHDAY JODI!!) so I HAD to get her a cake. The girls got another trunk full of dress up cloths from Auntie Jodi for Christmas. They love playing dress up. This particular morning Holly just looked adorable. She is quite the fashionista! And a cute close up of my princess… Allison was showing me the picture that her and Holly drew online of Max & Ruby. I think they did a pretty good job! Holly is very artistic, she pretty much did all the drawings. Allison has her Cinderella dress on behind the picture, half on half off. My other Princess.

Holly turned 18 months last week. Amazing how fast that went by. She went for her 18 month checkup yesterday and did great. She still wasn’t to crazy about getting weighed (which I can’t blame her) but she did much better than she did at 15 months. She weighs 22lbs and is 31 1/4 inches tall. Perfect! She was a wild women in the exam room. She was all over the place running, jumping, spinning, laughing, talking etc. The doctor was very impressed with all of her. She’s so funny!! She didn’t like the 2 shots she got and she pulled the band aid right off, but after it was done, it was done. Here’s a few pictures from last week, she’s figured out how…

Steve and I (along with my parents) had a little cake for Holly last night, her party is this weekend and our family’s will come over to celebrate with her. Let’s just say that she LOVED having Happy Birthday sung to her and she was even excited to blow out her candles. I never realized a 2 year old could do that. But she could NOT keep her little fingers out of the frosting. We won’t let her do this to the big cake on Saturday but we just let her have fun with her little cake. It was so cute and of course, I got it all on video!! Here’ it is……….enjoy!!
