ByKarenI turned 37 today. Yup 37! I feel like it was just yesterday that I was turning 30 and now it’s 7 years later. Time really flies, especially when you have kids. A Trip to the Disney Store at the Emerald Square Mall
ByKarenWhile I was in California for the premiere of PLANES, I had a chance to visit the Disney store. It was so beautiful and I love walking through that store. We used to have one at the Warwick Mall but after the flood a few years ago, they never came back to the mall. So the closest one is at the Emerald Square mall. Hand Made Spaceship – Why Do I Buy Toys??
ByKarenWe got a new toilet this weekend and the girls got a new toy… all in one. NO They aren’t playing in the toilet but they ARE playing in the box that the toilet came in. Seriously these kids have enough toys to label them spoiled but yet they play with things that aren’t toys. But when they saw this big box, they knew it could be turned into something fun…………………. like a Spaceship! Day Five of Spring Break School Vacation {Birthday Party}
ByKarenToday was day 5 of the girl’s spring break and the last day (not counting the weekend). To end the week we had a birthday party for Allison at AC Moore. She had her party there last year and loved it so much she asked to go there again. I don’t mind because not only is it affordable, but the staff is great and she can pick her own craft. Before we began, she had them write their name on the table (which was covered with kraft paper) and also to draw a picture. A lot of her friends drew pictures of zebras which I thought was adorable! Making Pizza With Nonnie
ByKarenMy mother is a great cook. And I’m not just saying this because she reads my blog. She really is a great cook! The girls think so too though most times if you ask Allison who is the best cook she will say “Mommy!” and then “Nonnie!”. I know I’m not a better cook than my mother, but I’m happy to hear I’m Allison’s favorite cook! One thing she makes that is really yummy is her pizza! And she makes it every Friday. It’s funny because my aunt, her sister, used to make pizza all the time and it was awesome. My mother never made it but probably because her sister did.
