We got a new toilet this weekend and the girls got a new toy… all in one.  NO They aren’t playing in the toilet but they ARE playing in the box that the toilet came in. Seriously these kids have enough toys to label them spoiled but yet they play with things that aren’t toys.  But when they saw this big box, they knew it could be turned into something fun…………………. like a Spaceship! Today’s Update

Jodi here… I spoke with Karen this morning and everyone is doing well. I read to her all the well wishes that everyone posted to her. Thank You! Karen is blissfully enjoying Allison and on her road to recovery. Allison is sleeping and eating just great (burping and pooing too which is exiciting news when you have a new baby!) A Trip to the Disney Store at the Emerald Square Mall

While I was in California for the premiere of PLANES, I had a chance to visit the Disney store.  It was so beautiful and I love walking through that store.  We used to have one at the Warwick Mall but after the flood a few years ago, they never came back to the mall.  So the closest one is at the Emerald Square mall.  When I told Holly and Allison that I went to the Disney Store while in California, they asked if we could go to one someday before the summer was over.  Of course I said yes. Coffee with A Friend

I love coffee – most people that know me know I love coffee. Allison loves that I love coffee too. She relates the smell of coffee with me and it’s a comfort smell for her. It’s sort of cute! Recently I was drinking a cup of coffee and had a little left and it got cold so I didn’t want anymore. I asked Allison if she could put my cup on the counter for me. She asked if she could smell it first, something she loves doing almost every time I make a cup of coffee. I told her sure, just to be careful. She came back a few moments later and was giggling. Lollipop Seeds

Have you heard of Lollipop Seeds?  I hadn’t until Friday.  Allison had to go to the dentist and while there they told us about how the Easter Bunny sometimes brings Lollipop Seeds the day before Easter which you then spread on the ground and when the Easter Bunny comes, he spreads his magic on them and Lollipop’s grown. Doesn’t that sound cool? So the ladies at the office told my girls that they’d get in touch with the EB and ask him to bring us some Lollipop seeds.  We were going to my inlaws for the weekend and we were really excited when we got there and realized he did indeed drop off some Lollipop seeds!!!  I guess the dentist has a direct link to…

Under the Weather

Allison was feeling under the weather and had a slight fever.  We felt so bad for her.  She didn’t want to go to bed so instead I put her in front of the TV with Eeka and her blanket and told her to relax.  I knew she’d fall asleep – and she did.  She looked so cute sleeping I had to take a picture of her.  I don’t know how she could lay in this position for so long but she did……… guess when you’re small it’s easier. I’m happy to report her fever only lasted a day and then she was fine.
