Some Videos……

That’s what Holly said today when I pointed to a picture of me! Finally I’m not “dada”. That’s what she usually says when she sees a picture of me but today she said “tat mommum” tat is That which she’s never said before. I’m so happy!!!! I don’t know if she’ll say it again, but at least she’s trying!!! These are the little things that make my day brighter, especially when it started earlier than I wanted it to. She slept better last night, but was up early again. Those darn teeth! I can’t wait until they are all out. Well I guess I really don’t want to rush that, because then it means she’s getting bigger which I’ve been having a hard time dealing…

This past weekend we took Holly to the pumpkin patch. She had so much fun there last year, we know she’d enjoy it even more this year, and she did! She tried picking up all the pumpkins but most were too heavy. She kept running from pumpkin to pumpkin saying “help me, help me” because she was desperate to pick them up. It was so cute. “ok mom”“here it is, mom”“i love you, mom”“can I have a snack, mom?”“thank you, mom” That’s what I’ve been hearing from Holly for about a week now, “mom”. I still get the occasional “mommy” but most of the day, I am just “mom”. This seems a little to early to make the shift from “mommy” to “mom”. I mean, she’s only been 3 for 2 months. I don’t think I’m ready to be “mom”……I am still “mommy”. I need to slow down time, my Holly is growing up way too fast.

Today is our 5th Wedding Anniversary. I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since we were married. Of course those have been 5 WONDERFUL years. My life changed almost 8 years ago when I met my husband. I knew shortly after I met him that we’d be together forever. It just felt right, I didn’t have to be someone I wasn’t, I could totally be myself and it was a great feeling. We had so much fun together when we were dating and we still do today. It’s great to wake up every morning next to the best thing that ever came into my life. Well, my layout is in the mail and on it’s way to Scrapbook Trends. Of course, being a scrapbooker, I had to take a picture of the box and I had to take a picture of Holly with the box.
