We finally was able to take the boat out for a ride on Saturday. They were expecting it to be hot and humid but instead it was beautiful and a great day to be outdoors, especially if you were on a boat! We had a fun time. Holly stayed behind with Grandma and Grandpa. Our friends Mark and Jeff came with us. I’m glad Mark came because he grew up on a boat too like Steve so he knows the language and what to do. OK, I think this blogging is catchy! My best friend Jodi now has a blog too. You can see adorable pictures of her little boy David HERE! Anyone else going to start a blog??? So who’s reading this blog anyways. I do see that people visit daily…some from around the world…but hardly anyone leaves me comments. Just say hi…I LOVE getting email!!!!

I’m so sad. My camera is broken, and it’s not something the warranty will cover. They say it’s physical damage and the warranty doesn’t cover that. I think that’s silly, when you have small children, the warranty should cover for physical damage. Oh wait, I guess that would on be the warranty for the child, not the camera. Oh well. We could have if fixed, but for double the price of fixing it we can get a brand new one. Why not get one that’s more up to date with the latest features, right? I think that’s what we should do. Steve thinks we should see if we can have it fixed somewhere else for cheaper. I’m going for the new camera route instead. He…

Holly will be 2 in two days but today we went and picked up her birthday gift so she got an early present. We bought her the Little Tikes Slide and she LOVES IT!!!! The slide can be used indoors our outside, and Holly LOVES going on the slide so we knew it would be the perfect gift, and it was. It was so fun to see how excited she was when daddy put it together, her face lite up! It was the first time she’s really ever had a reaction like that and we enjoyed it so much. 2 is defiently going to be fun (tough too, but fun). The night of Allison’s birthday we tried the cake thing again and she did taste and and she did like it, but she didn’t cover herself in it or make a mess. She did, however, cry when we sang.

I couldn’t seem to get to this earlier in the week, Holly and I were trying to get back into our routine and I haven’t spent much time on the computer during the day. We had such a busy weekend and it started on Friday. Friday Steve took the day off and we went and got haircuts in the morning (Steve and I, not Holly yet) and then went food shopping for the weekend. Once we got home, Holly decided she wasn’t going to take a nap because she snoozed in the car so Steve filled up her kiddie pool and the three of us went out back to play.
