Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you all had a great Christmas. We had a wonderful day and it was so much fun with Holly and Allison this year. Holly was every excited about Santa and this was really the first year with so much excitement. It reminded me of when I was a little girl and I’d get so excited too. I’m amazed she fell asleep so easily too. When she got up this morning she was in complete awe that Santa actually came and knocked down hers and Allison’s stockings, but he filled them up so that was OK. I really do have the best husband and daughter in the entire world!! Or I’m just spoiled..one or the other. But I think they are great. Steve decided to buy me for my birthday a brand new Laptop!!!! I said earlier in the year that eventually I’d like a laptop and knew we’d go wireless at some point. Steve said sure, probably by the end of the year and for Christmas. We’ll he decided it could be my birthday gift too! We went last night to pick one out and of course the one we wanted wasn’t in stock, but they’ll ship it to our house for free and it will be here the day before my birthday. That works for me!! Allison is 2 weeks old today and she’s doing great. She is such a good baby, she does have her fussy moments, but overall she’s just so pleasant. We are really enjoying her and she’s letting mommy get some decent sleep at night so that’s always good! Holly is still enjoying being a little helper when it’s time to do things for Allison. She even lets me know when she’s awake from her naps. It’s really sweet to see her with Allison and she kisses her all the time. I hope Holly continues to love her little sister. Well we’ve realized that we should start trying to Potty Train Holly. Not exactly sure how to go about it but the first step was to open the box with the Potty that’s been sitting in my dining room for 2 months now. So last night I did exactly that, put it together and put it next to the toilet in the bathroom. When it was time for Holly’s bath I said to her… “Do you want to sit on the potty and do pee pee’s?” She got all excited sat down smiled for the camera and then got up. Then she went back, sat down, smiled for the camera again and then got up. We did this about 5 times without any pee pee’s….

Today was like Holly’s first ever Halloween. Of course in her mind it was because she doesn’t remember Halloween’s of the past even though she’s always enjoyed it. No, it was like she experienced it for the first time today and we LOVED it!! It all began last Tuesday night when we told her that tomorrow was Halloween and she would be going trick or treating with Jakob tomorrow night. She knew Halloween was coming but had no idea when. She woke up this morning (Halloween) and was crying. I asked her what the problem was and she said that it wasn’t trick or treat today.
