Shh….Don’t Tell!!!! Mommy snuck a barrett in Holly’s hair this weekend. Holly had no idea…until about 2 hours later when she put her hands on her head and well that was the end of that. Now she’s onto me…I can’t brush her hair to long because she knows what I might do. But I’ll keep trying because she looked so cute!!! The funny thing was, when she found it and pulled it out, she then kept trying to put it back in her hair. It was so funny. I tried to fix it for her and she let me once, but that was it. Halloween is approaching and I need to find Holly a costume but I’m so tempted to put the same thing on her as last year just because it was so darn cute. (But I will get something different). Here she is, just under 1 years old, walking already, on her first night of trick o treatin….she seemed to enjoy it and we loved how cute she looked….

Happy Birthday My Friend!!!! We’ve know each other for about 23 years……..wow………that’s a long time!!! We’ve had a lot of fun over the years and we’ve had a LOT of laughs. I’m so glad we got back in touch so we can continue being friends for another 23 plus years!!! I hope you have a great day and you get exactly what you want for your birthday. Holly said her first sentence this past week. After dinner her daddy went outside to mow the lawn and when she realized he wasn’t there so looked at me, put her arms out (like when you say things are all gone) and said to me….”Where’d dada go?” I was so excited!!! I told her “dada went outside” and then she said in a question “outside?”. It was a conversation…something that is new to her and I and I LOVED IT. It made me realize how fast she is growing up. Last week, the girls and I, along with Danielle met Jodi and David to go strawberry picking. It was pretty overcast and we knew it was going to rain but we did our best to get the picking done before the rain came, and we did, just in the nick of time! The kids LOVED it. Holly doesn’t like to eat strawberries but she loved picking them. While we walked to the field, Holly and David held hands, it was so cute. I’m not sure if someday they will love us for these pictures, or hate us, but they are just so cute together! Now onto the strawberry picking. The biggest strawberries were already gone, but we sure did get some yummy, sweet and juicy…

Holly was enjoying some blueberries this weekend, but it got pretty messy so we moved to the highchair. She had a blue mouth and blue fingers, she looks so cute! I took some pictures of her and she was being so silly. She’s a happy girl even when she’s blue!
