Merry Christmas………..

Like most 2nd children, Allison loves all of Holly’s stuff. Lately she’s been wearing her shoes, or mine and even Steve’s. It’s really cute and I think just about every kid does it. But today was the best yet. She came walking down the hallway wearing her jammies (blue – from David, we love hand me downs) and Holly’s Pink High Heel Shoes! And of course her buddy Zebra (otherwise know as “Z”) was with her. I am so glad I was able to grab my camera and catch a picture of her. Today was moving day, for Holly at least. We finally finished painting her new room and it’s all ready for her. We began by moving her crib into the room this morning, boy was that fun. We were really hoping not to have to take the entire crib apart but we had to unassemble quite a bit of it to get it through the doors. Live and Learn. We’ve decided to move her with the crib first and then when she is nice and settled in there, we’ll get her a bed. Then we had to break for haircuts. Today is our 5th Wedding Anniversary. I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since we were married. Of course those have been 5 WONDERFUL years. My life changed almost 8 years ago when I met my husband. I knew shortly after I met him that we’d be together forever. It just felt right, I didn’t have to be someone I wasn’t, I could totally be myself and it was a great feeling. We had so much fun together when we were dating and we still do today. It’s great to wake up every morning next to the best thing that ever came into my life. When it was time to come inside Holly asked if we could have some Hot Chocolate, so I said “sure!”. She was all excited, this was the first time she was trying it. I mixed it up, added some cold milk to cool it down and then added one of her favorite things……… marshmallows!! Oh Boy life can’t get better than this right now (she is thinking). She LOVED it! Of course she didn’t drink much, which is what I expected, but she sure did eat all the marshmallows. She’s such a cutie.

I’ve been a very bad blogger. I just uploaded my pictures onto the computer because my card was full and I can’t believe how many pictures I had that I wanted to share. Guess I should check my camera more often. LOL Pasta Night Holly loves Pasta (what Italian child doesn’t, right?) but she prefers it with butter. No problem…It’s easier that way in case I don’t have any sauce on hand and the clean up is SO much better…Butter in the hair as opposed to sauce all over her. well, at least for picture taking! I took tons of pictures between Friday and Sunday. Of course I love every one of them…but I’ll just post a few. Friday, after Holly’s bath, I snapped a few pictures of her. When I say a few, I took about 30 of them (hehehe).
