A conversation with a 2 year old….
A conversation with a 2 month old…..
While Jodi was visiting, she did the girls hair… they look like Princess Lea in Star Wars (is that how to spell her name?) Jodi loves doing the girls hair because she has two boys. After she did their hair she wanted to take a picture of them but the girls were having one of their moments. They didn’t want to be next to each other or to even touch each other. So Jodi said to them “Make believe you like each other for a minute”. And this is the result of that….. Holly the little actress went along with it and ‘made believe’ she was going to put her arm around her sister. Allison pretty much stood there because she was told too trying…
Yesterday we went for our big ultrasound where they see the baby’s development and can usually tell the sex but this baby did NOT want to be seen! It stayed in the same position, head down, belly down, the entire time we were there. She couldn’t even see everything she wanted to see, let alone between it’s legs. We were both very disappointed, not just that we couldn’t find out if we were having a boy or a girl, but just that she could not confirm that everything is going well. The heartbeat was great…….love hearing the sound of it!!! It was nice and fast, just like it should be and we got to see an arm and a leg (barely) and a few other…
This past Saturday was my oldest nephew Jonathan’s Birthday Party. He turned 8 today. I can’t believe it!!!! Happy Birthday Jonathan!!!! At his party, the kids made Chocolate Pizza’s. What a cute idea and boy did they all LOVE IT!! Even Holly, not even being 2, enjoyed it. She didn’t know right away what to do, but she caught on really fast. She mostly enjoyed tasting all the different candies and the frosting. I got lots of cute pictures of her and decided to do a layout already! Digital scrapbooking is helping me to stay up to date and I love it. Here’s the layout… Another layout I’ve been working on this past week is was from my last birthday. Steve got some great pictures…
I haven’t taken the time to blog the last few days but got lots to say (when don’t I?!!). Most importantly, my nephew Jonathan, who is 8 years old, had emergency surgery on Wednesday to have his appendix removed. Poor little dude was so sick Tuesday night and then by Wednesday morning his side was hurting so much he could not even walk. His parents acted fast because they suspected it was his appendix and sure enough it was. As they took it out, it burst so now he’s going to be in the hospital until Wednesday receiving an antibiotic. Poor little guy, he is being so brave and doing well. On Wednesday evening I was lucky enought to take a class from Donna Downey…
These girls are getting so big, so fast…………it’s amazing! Allison likes to carry a ‘bunch’ of things at a time by tucking them under her chin. It’s really cute when she does this. One day I let her play with the tub of wipes so I could finish up some things around the house (of course I have plenty of wipes to spare). Once they were all pulled out of the tub, she then carried them from room to room, and of course tucked them under her chin. I was able to catch a couple of pictures of her…. We decided to keep Holly home from school the month of August and we’ve also decided to send her to a different school in September. Her…

My kids and I enjoyed those video clips of your cutie girls! 🙂
So cute.
Oh my goodness your girls are TOO cute!!! I love your conversation with Holly! It was great actually hearing your voice too! Your accent is adorable. What is really funny is that I didn’t understand what Holly said sometimes until you “interpreted”. I guess as a mom you just can understand so much better. Thanks for sharing!
Karen, too precious. Cami loves to see Holly, how fun!
