My 2nd Digital Page….

Allison is getting better. She hasn’t had a fever since Sunday so the antibiotics are working their magic. She’s been in such a better mood too. I’m glad because she is such a pleasant little baby, it was so sad to see her unhappy. Holly is still doing great in school, loving every minute of it and doing well. We are really proud of her! Isn’t she getting big???

Yesterday we went to the Big E in Springfield Mass with Nana and Papa. The girls had a great time! The weather was perfect for being outside all day too and that made the day very enjoyable. Nana and Papa bought Holly a ‘ride all day’ pass and she really wanted to ride all day. She had a blast! Every ride that she was tall enough for, she went on. She was very brave with a few of them and she made mommy very proud. The height requirement was 36″ and she just made it at 36.5″. We got lucky! Last Friday night Santa arrived in town on the local fire truck. I guess the reindeer aren’t ready to travel yet. After dinner we gathered with everyone else to await Santa’s arrival. This was the first time we were there to greet him so we had no idea what to expect. The girls were becoming impatient so we gave them so lollipops to buy some time and it worked, very well. When Santa finally arrived he began to visit the children in the crowd but unfortunately we were in the wrong spot. Well, almost. It is absolutely beautiful here today. We have the heat down, a few windows open….I love the fresh air coming in, especially at the beginning of Spring. I’m sure it won’t last long, but I’m not even thinking about that. We had to run out to Walmart for a few things and it was too warm to put Holly’s winter jacket on so I pulled out the Spring Jacket!!!! Ok, it’s not so exciting for everyone, but it was for me. Today was like Holly’s first ever Halloween. Of course in her mind it was because she doesn’t remember Halloween’s of the past even though she’s always enjoyed it. No, it was like she experienced it for the first time today and we LOVED it!! It all began last Tuesday night when we told her that tomorrow was Halloween and she would be going trick or treating with Jakob tomorrow night. She knew Halloween was coming but had no idea when.
