My 2nd Digital Page….

I don’t normally get great pictures of my mother because she hates to smile. She says she doesn’t know ‘how’ too (sorry mom, but you do!). Well I finally got a perfect picture of her and Holly and they are both smiling pefectly!! I scrapbooked it right away and I love how it came out. I found a quote that I thought would be great for this page because there wasn’t really a story to tell about the picture. It says “Grandma’s are mommies with lots of practice”. PERFECT!!

Poor thing has a fever and has been vomiting. First time for this to happen, not bad since she’s 16 months old. She went down for both naps very early today so I know she’s not herself. Very listless too. Poor thing. I wish it was me. I hope this doesn’t last all week.

We don’t have anymore gates up, except for the top of the stairs. Now Allison can get into every room which isn’t really a problem EXCEPT the one fact of she LOVES to play with all the hair pieces and everything in the bottom draws of the bathroom sink (no cleaning stuff there). She takes everything out and lines it up, then puts it back. She thinks I don’t know she’s doing it but mommy always knows. This happens almost every week when Holly’s in school and mommy’s doing something. The good thing is most of the time she will clean it up too, most of the the time. 🙂

This past weekend we took Holly to the pumpkin patch. She had so much fun there last year, we know she’d enjoy it even more this year, and she did! She tried picking up all the pumpkins but most were too heavy. She kept running from pumpkin to pumpkin saying “help me, help me” because she was desperate to pick them up. It was so cute. Holly has this new thing..she puts both hands over her ears. I’m really not sure why she does it…is she trying to block out the sound? Does she really NOT want to hear mommy’s beautiful singing voice?? I don’t see why she’d want to block that out but perhaps she does. Or did she just realized that it sounds funny when she puts her hands over her ears? I’ll never know but she sure looks cute doing it! What do you think?? While I cleaned the bathroom yesterday, Holly planted herself right outside the bathroom door and played with her pig. I thought it was so cute. I was able to squeeze in a few minutes yesterday to get two scrapbook pages done. Here’s what…

It seems like my blog has been all about my digital layouts. Sorry about that. I’ll post a ‘Holly’ update below this layout. My nephew Jonathan (who turned 8 yesterday) made his First Communion this past May. He’s also my Godson. It’s amazing how fast the past 8 years have gone by. It seems like it was just yesterday we were awaiting his arrival, not sure if he was a boy or a girl, and very excited. It’s one of those days that will always be fresh in my memory, that’s how exciting it was. Anyways, Steve took a really nice picture of him and I the day of his party and I finally scrapped it.
