Today was moving day, for Holly at least. We finally finished painting her new room and it’s all ready for her. We began by moving her crib into the room this morning, boy was that fun. We were really hoping not to have to take the entire crib apart but we had to unassemble quite a bit of it to get it through the doors. Live and Learn. We’ve decided to move her with the crib first and then when she is nice and settled in there, we’ll get her a bed. Then we had to break for haircuts. We finally was able to take the boat out for a ride on Saturday. They were expecting it to be hot and humid but instead it was beautiful and a great day to be outdoors, especially if you were on a boat! We had a fun time. Holly stayed behind with Grandma and Grandpa. Our friends Mark and Jeff came with us. I’m glad Mark came because he grew up on a boat too like Steve so he knows the language and what to do. I have no CLUE when it comes to boating. I guess over time I’ll learn though. But we had a great time and stopped at Hamburg Cove which is along the CT River and the guys went swimming. The current…

The girls were playing and said they were going to have a picnic. Holly lost interest and found something else to do but only after helping her sister set the table. Allison then proceeded to have her picnic, with Zebra. It was absolutely adorable and I’m so glad I got a picture of it. She is going to love looking back at this someday.

We don’t let Holly take any toys into her crib. We just never did. Before her morning nap today she was playing with her baby doll (that’s what we call her) so nice. She’s been playing with her a lot lately, carrying her around the house, just like a little mommy. Well, I decided today to try something and let her take baby doll with her for her nap. I looked in on her after a few minutes and she was laying there, touching baby doll, I thinking she found a tag on her cloths. We’ve all been sick. First Allison, then Mommy, then Holly and finally Steve. The wonderful stomach and intestinal bug……… fun fun fun. We have been just lying around the house for a few days. I felt really bad for the girls, they were not themselves, but they were still cute. Steve took some pictures of the girls sharing the couch. Holly smiled, but Allison just couldn’t.
