Busy Girl….

My mother has been spending a lot of time over here lately and she’s been such a great help. Her and Holly have been having fun too. She’s trying really hard to get Holly to accept a barrett in her hair. She’s not having much luck but she did managed to get her to keep one in for a while. Maybe if we keep trying, she’ll eventually just accept them. She looks so cute!!! We are trying once again to get her to go on the potty. She loves to sit there but nothing comes out. I think once she goes the first time, she’ll be so happy and proud that she will want to go again. I’m trying and we are now using M&M;’s…

Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you all had a great Christmas. We had a wonderful day and it was so much fun with Holly and Allison this year. Holly was every excited about Santa and this was really the first year with so much excitement. It reminded me of when I was a little girl and I’d get so excited too. I’m amazed she fell asleep so easily too. When she got up this morning she was in complete awe that Santa actually came and knocked down hers and Allison’s stockings, but he filled them up so that was OK. I have a blog. Not really sure if this is for me but since I read so many of them, Steve suggested that I start my own. The only question is, what am I going to write about??? Holly??? Scrapbooking??? Ok, those will work! Bare with me please, I’m not a good writer (or a good speller..is there spell check on here) but I’ll try my best. Holly is turning into a big girl right before our eyes. Just about everything baby about her has disappeared. Before we know it…………Nope I won’t even go there! LOL She’s been battling a cough the past few days so we’ve been giving her lots of medicine. She’s such a BIG girl now that she can have he medicine in the little dosing cup and drink it all by herself. I’m so proud of her every time I watch her drink it all up. We call it special juicy so she’ll drink it and usually she’ll say to me “yum yum special juicy good!”. Oh how I love her!!! Here are some pictures of her drinking her ‘special juicy’. Enjoy………….

Happy 16th Birthday Danielle!!!! Today is my little cousin Danielle’s 16th Birthday and she’s getting her driver’s permit. Now when in the world did that happen. How did she get to be 16 when she was just born. It’s amazing how fast she has grown up right before my eyes. When she was little, my sister in law and I would tell her we were going to call the stores and tell them to stop making cloths so she wouldn’t grow anymore and I think she believed us back then. We had Allison’s 1st Birthday Party this past Saturday and we couldn’t of asked for a more perfect day, weather and all. It was beautiful outside and the kids had so much fun. Allison enjoyed the day but got really tired from all the days activities. She was a little bit interested in the gift opening but not interested in the cake. She cried. Part of the reason was because she was hungry and she didn’t know that was food, it didn’t look like her regular food. I’m sure someday cake will be a recognizable food for her but not at 1. Today being her actual birthday, we are going to try the cake thing again so hopefully this time she’ll enjoy it. A few…
