Busy Girl….

Today was Holly’s first day of her new preschool. She was VERY excited this morning and could not wait to get there. She got dressed right when she got up and was ready to go. We packed up her bag with the following items… Sunscreen Change of Cloths Blanket and Sheet Pillow Littlest Pet Shop Stuffed Penguin to sleep with during her nap And then we were out the door. We finally was able to take the boat out for a ride on Saturday. They were expecting it to be hot and humid but instead it was beautiful and a great day to be outdoors, especially if you were on a boat! We had a fun time. Holly stayed behind with Grandma and Grandpa. Our friends Mark and Jeff came with us. I’m glad Mark came because he grew up on a boat too like Steve so he knows the language and what to do. Lots of Pictures!!! I seem to take so many pictures of Holly some weeks. This little girl will seriously be able to enjoy her childhood again by looking through pictures. Some of them are taken of everything she does throughout the day. For instance yesterday. Here she is watching Blues Clues in her onesie, drinking her juice. She tries to ignore the camera, but it’s still there, snapping away. Here she is after her bath, while the barette is still in her hair (wasn’t there very long). Holly LOVES her books. She wont really sit too long and let us read to her but she does spend a LOT of time looking through her books. I’m glad because her daddy is a HUGE reader and I know he learned a lot of what he knows through reading and I wish for that for her too. I enjoy reading too, but I like the romance novels and I don’t learn too much I can use in life from them. LOL I keep a bunch of books in the car now too and if I need to keep her awake or she just needs some entertaining, then I hand her a book. She’ll sit there, point to things that she knows and even thing…

Last night Steve was taking pictures of me, every few weeks I get a belly shot so I can later scrapbook my progress. Anyways, Holly wanted to be in the picture, of course I did not mind at all. And then I had to get a kiss in, love kissing those cheeks!!! And we had to get a picture with daddy too. Oh how we love this little girl!!!!

Last night I went and got a very much needed pedicure with one of my oldest friends Kimberly. When I say oldest I mean we’ve been friends for a LONG time, she’s not really older than me. We figured out this year will be 25 years we’ve been friends. That’s a LONG time and a lot of history. But anyways, we had a nice time and we got out toes painted together. I decided to paint my toes Blue. Yup you heard that right, I said blue. Why not right?? Not like anyone is really going to see them. I figured Holly would get a kick out of it and she did.
