Busy Girl….

It’s just hitting me recently that Holly is indeed a toddler. Where did the time go? I can’t believe that little baby girl I had almost 18 months ago, is now a Toddler. It really is amazing how fast that went by. Everyone told me it would go by fast but I really had NO IDEA how fast. Here are two pictures of her. Today is our 5th Wedding Anniversary. I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since we were married. Of course those have been 5 WONDERFUL years. My life changed almost 8 years ago when I met my husband. I knew shortly after I met him that we’d be together forever. It just felt right, I didn’t have to be someone I wasn’t, I could totally be myself and it was a great feeling. We had so much fun together when we were dating and we still do today. It’s great to wake up every morning next to the best thing that ever came into my life. Last night I went and got a very much needed pedicure with one of my oldest friends Kimberly. When I say oldest I mean we’ve been friends for a LONG time, she’s not really older than me. We figured out this year will be 25 years we’ve been friends. That’s a LONG time and a lot of history. But anyways, we had a nice time and we got out toes painted together. I decided to paint my toes Blue. Yup you heard that right, I said blue. Why not right?? Not like anyone is really going to see them. I figured Holly would get a kick out of it and she did. (Steve thinks I’m crazy but that’s nothing new) Holly hasn’t noticed my toes…

I tried scrapbooking this weekend and while I did get 3 pages done, I’m not happy with any of them so I’ll try to re-work them until I’m somewhat satisfied. I seemed to have lost my scrappin mo-jo. Since that wasn’t working and I was really in the mood to scrap, I decided to try some digi scrapping. I purchased some templates from Gina Miller Designs last week so I thought they might help to get me going. Well it worked and I got 2 pages done. Then I took some time to organize my digital items to make it easier. I think this week I’ll just stick to digital and see what happens. Here are the 2 pages I did do…

Allison has started solids and lets just say, she has her daddy’s taste buds, not her mommy’s. She does enjoy the rice cereal, but she doesn’t like Pears or Sweet Potato’s. Like I said, she’s got her daddy’s taste buds, no fruits or vegetables. But I am determined to change that. For now, we are going to stick to the rice cereal and try the fruits and veggies again some time soon. She is getting so big, so fast, but I guess that’s what happens when you keep feeding them lol.
