Happy Birthday Holly!

Today is my baby girls 2nd birthday. I can’t believe how fast the past 2 years have gone by. It’s been so amazing and fun since the day she was born. Our lives changed in a way that no one could ever explain to us, but it was the best change ever. Holly is an amazing little girl and has brought so much joy to everyone who knows her. She’s smart, funny, silly, loving, cuddly and so much more. There are days that Steve and I just look at her and think, how could we not love her as much as we do. Now that Holly is moved into her new room, we can start working on the nursery. I defiantly want to change the theme. I need something different because I’ve been looking at Holly’s room for almost 3 years. Change is good. We decided (well I guess really I decided) to paint the nursery yellow. I’ve been wanting a yellow room in my house and since my husband really isn’t into painting the rest of the house, why not have my yellow in the nursery. I don’t normally get great pictures of my mother because she hates to smile. She says she doesn’t know ‘how’ too (sorry mom, but you do!). Well I finally got a perfect picture of her and Holly and they are both smiling pefectly!! I scrapbooked it right away and I love how it came out. I found a quote that I thought would be great for this page because there wasn’t really a story to tell about the picture. It says “Grandma’s are mommies with lots of practice”. PERFECT!!

We went on Monday to The Picture People to have Holly’s Official Easter picture taken. I’d do it myself but I can’t get her to look at the camera anymore. I also don’t have a place to take it without stuff in the background so off to The Picture People we go. The last time we were there was on her 1st Birthday. The thing about them is that the kids can stand up. She started walking at 9 months so by 1 year she was running and I knew she wouldn’t sit for a picture. What a blah kinda day today is!! Good day to get the house back in order after Holly and I being sick this past week. A friend of mine posted the coolest thing on Personal Scrapper today that she received in an email. This: On Wednesday of this week,at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning & in the afternoon,the time and date will be 01:02:03 04/05/06 That won’t ever happen again. Pretty Cool, huh? Speaking of Personal Scrapper we had an online crop over a week ago and I did 10 layouts. That’s pretty good for me in a 24 hour time period. Here are a few of the layouts I did.

Holly absolutely LOVES her daddy. She gets so excited when he comes home from work every day. After dinner daddy usually sits down to watch tv for a little bit and that’s usually Holly’s opportunity to play with him and climb all over him. One night last week she loaded a bunch of stuffed animals on top of daddy and then climbed on top of him too and did a little cuddling. It was so sweet I had to snap a picture. So glad I caught that moment….. My little fishes swimming this past weekend….
