Happy Birthday Holly!

This past weekend our friends Bob and Melissa were married in PA. They asked Holly to be a flower girl and she hasn’t stopped talking about it since that day. Well now she has even more to talk about. She was the cutest flower girl and did such a GREAT job. Mommy and Daddy were very proud of her. She didn’t even hesitate when she went down the aisle. She was having fun tossing the flowers along the way. Allison was also a hit since she looked so cute too. She was a very good girl during the ceremony and sat and ate her goldfish like a big girl. Holly received a LOT of gifts for Christmas but we haven’t opened everything up just yet. I’m pulling things out as needed. Well yesterday she needed something different to play with so I opened her new AquaDoodle. It’s like the MagnaDoodle only you use water and there is NO MESS AT ALL. Well she absolutely LOVED IT! (Thanks Cuozzo Cousins!). She sat there for about 45 mins (which is a long time in toddler land) and just wrote and stamped her little heart out. The mat is made with special material that turns blue when anything wet hits it and then disappears when it drys. It’s never ending fun. I was so happy she enjoyed it so much. Just a quick midweek update with some pictures to share. Allison is getting a little restless right now so this will be short and sweet. The girls are doing great and so are we. Mommy and her girls….This is actually Allison’s halloween costume but Holly wanted to put it on, it’s pretty small on her, though it doesn’t look that small……Allison is probably going to be swimming in it. Since Holly liked it so much, I got her one too that will fit her better. We had a nice weekend, but it’s nice to get back into what ever normal is in our house. For Christmas Eve, my inlaws, my parents, Uncle Rick and Auntie Connie and our friend Melissa all came for a nice Italian dinner. Not the traditional italian christmas eve of fish and seafood, but my own version of an Italian dinner….Salad, homemade Lasagna, homemade meatballs and sausage, homemade eggplant parm and lots of yummy Italian bread!! What’s an Italian meal with out yummy bread. OH and top that off with a real yummy Italian dessert with lots of cream and friut. I have no idea what it was called but it was good!!! Allison is doing so well. She is such a good baby and easy too. She is sleeping GREAT and eating up a storm. She seems to have mommy’s appetite! She goes for her 1 week check up tomorrow and I’m sure her doctor will be pleased with her. We are enjoying her so much, when she is awake though that’s not too much. Holly just LOVES her baby sister and gets so upset when she goes to sleep. She was having fun ‘playing’ with Allison while she was in her crib watching her butterfly/dragonfly mobile but after a while Allison started falling asleep.
