The Big E

Allison received a really FUN Water Table for her birthday from her Godfather Joe, Becky, Joey and Tommy. What a great gift, she LOVES it!! And so does Holly. While Daddy and Holly were in the pool on Thursday Allison played with the water table. Here are a few pictures. She got pretty wet!And then there is our fish, or mermaid as she likes to say… Miss Holly…. About to jump off the stairs into the pool, she’s very brave this year!Pretending she’s sleeping.

I look at this face and my heart just melts. I love my daughter so much, I would do anything to make sure nothing ever happened to her…always. I’m sure as she grows there will be times when we won’t agree, or we won’t “like” each other but no matter what I will always see this little face and just fall to pieces over her. I watch her as she’s doing things and I wonder what goes through her mind and I can’t wait until she can tell me. She’s started talking and that little voice is the absolute sweetest thing I’ve ever heard. She tries so hard sometimes to tell me what she’s thinking, but we just aren’t quite there yet. So much fun playing in the water. Holly had a blast, once again, playing in her pool. She LOVES to splash and toss the water out off the pool. She hasn’t emptied it yet, but I have a feeling she’s working towards it some days. She really does know how to have fun and I love to watch her.  

If Holly could say those words, that’s what we would of heard over the weekend from her. She’s been trying for so long to climb up onto the love seat by herself. She’s been successful once or twice but she’s tried a lot more than that. Well, this weekend she achieved her first little goal….getting up on the love seat, repeatedly, by herself. And each time she would look so proud too. I finally caught a picture of her up there by herself this morning, but of course she wouldn’t smile for me. Allison has started solids and lets just say, she has her daddy’s taste buds, not her mommy’s. She does enjoy the rice cereal, but she doesn’t like Pears or Sweet Potato’s. Like I said, she’s got her daddy’s taste buds, no fruits or vegetables. But I am determined to change that. For now, we are going to stick to the rice cereal and try the fruits and veggies again some time soon. She is getting so big, so fast, but I guess that’s what happens when you keep feeding them lol.
