This morning, I moved some of her toys out to make room for the bed and put her crib to the side of the room. When daddy got home, the three of us (Holly always helps) took her crib apart and moved it into the nursery.
After the bed arrived today she went running in there and tried to get on it, but it took her a few tries to figure out how to climb up it since it’s a little tall for her. But she was up there in no time. We are working on teaching her to NOT JUMP on the bed, but that may take a few days. She went and got a pillow off my bed and grabbed her blanket and immediately laid down and pretended to sleep. Sorry the picture is a little blurry, it’s the only one I got before she jumped up and got off the bed.
After dinner tonight, Steve and I made the bed (of course with the help of Holly). She was so excited to get up onto the bed once we were finished. She was really happy and proud of her new bed.
OK, we are still working on the jumping part……….
Bedtime came and we all went into her room and we just stuck to our usual bedtime routine, which consists of Daddy “flying her” to mommy for kisses and hugs, then Daddy “flies her” into bed, we tucked her in, give her the pop pop (her pacifier, that will go soon too), and turned on her music and out we went. It’s been 30 minutes and I believe she’s asleep. I don’t know if she’ll sleep no problem tonight, but we shall see.
