The Big E

One of my layouts has been published in a scrapbook magazine. I found out back in August. You can read that thread here. This is something that I’ve been wanting and waiting for a LONG time. If it never happens again, I will be happy that it happened once. But of course I will continue to try for future publications. My copy of the magazine finally arrived yesterday. I really think I was the last one to receive a copy because I wanted it so bad. I was so happy, almost starting jumping up and down again screaming, but Holly was napping so I couldn’t. I can NOT believe that Allsion is already 18 months old. That was the fastest 18 months of my life! She was such a sweet baby and is turning into an adorable toddler (with quite the temper) and I don’t want her to grow up anymore. If I could keep her this age forever I would. She is my baby and always will be. Now that that is said, we are enjoying hearing her finally say things. She’s got a sweet voice and is building a good vocabulary. Sunday we Baptized Allison and she looked so beautiful. She’s 4 month’s old this week, I can’t believe how fast the time is going by. She’s sleeping through the night, most nights….sucking her thumb…..rolling onto her belly from her back and today she rolled back onto her back from her belly. She’s getting so big so fast, I just wish I could slow it down!!! This week she’ll also be starting rice cereal. OH MY my baby is getting so big!!!

well, at least for picture taking! I took tons of pictures between Friday and Sunday. Of course I love every one of them…but I’ll just post a few. Friday, after Holly’s bath, I snapped a few pictures of her. When I say a few, I took about 30 of them (hehehe). She just looks so big in these pictures, maybe it’s because she doesn’t have any cloths on, but I can’t believe how big my little girl is getting. How fast did that happen! OK One more I absolutely LOVE….. We got lots of snow here on Thursday so Steve was able to take Holly out in the snow to play this time. She had so much fun. She absolutely LOVES the snow. Holly is defiantly a fish in the water like her dad. Not that I don’t Love the water, because I do, but it’s a different Love for Steve and Holly seems to have that too. She even lets him dunk her underwater. I really should take her for formal swim lessons this fall. She just has so much fun while in the pool. Whether it’s the big pool or her kiddie pool, she just LOVES the water. And then at the end of the day she gets to take a bath and get into more water. Sorry for the lack of updates this month. The days are busy for me and I just haven’t been able to get to this. Things are going well, the girls are doing great and Allison is getting so BIG its amazing how fast the time is going by. She will be 12 weeks old next week, amazing! We’ve been enjoying the girls, the pool and getting our yard fixed, again. We think we finally fixed the water problem and hopefully will no longer have water coming in the house. Now we just have to plant more grass. Some day our yard will be full of grass and no weeds! LOL Here are some pictures from the last few weeks of the girls. I’ll try not…
