ByKarenAllison still loves Dora. She doesn’t watch the show too much, but she loves Dora’s books. She has a pile of them sitting in her bed that she reads to Eeka at night. Allison’s Kindergarten Birthday Party
ByKarenAllison has the first of many birthday celebrations today. Since it was school vacation this week, I figured it was the perfect time for her to have a party with some of her Kindergarten friends. Since I have a boot on my foot and getting around is a big hassle, I convinced here to have the party somewhere else so mommy didn’t have to do all the work. We agreed with AC Moore for an Arts & Crafts party as long as she could do something with Zebra Print. She was thrilled with the idea and couldn’t wait for the day to come. Hand Made Spaceship – Why Do I Buy Toys??
ByKarenWe got a new toilet this weekend and the girls got a new toy… all in one. NO They aren’t playing in the toilet but they ARE playing in the box that the toilet came in. Seriously these kids have enough toys to label them spoiled but yet they play with things that aren’t toys. But when they saw this big box, they knew it could be turned into something fun…………………. like a Spaceship! They got their markers out and began decorating and writing on their Spaceship and as you can see from the picture above it’s called “SPACESHIP STAR”. That is Holly’s handwriting! Pretty Dresses from Italy
ByKarenMy mom went to Italy last month – alone! I’m so proud of her. She had a great time but was very homesick too, which I figured she would be but I’m so glad she went because she has a lot of family there. She had fun shopping and bought the girls these really pretty dresses….. This picture was taken outside Allison’s school the day before her last day. It was the best smile I was going to get!

Today’s Update
ByKarenJodi here… I spoke with Karen this morning and everyone is doing well. I read to her all the well wishes that everyone posted to her. Thank You! Karen is blissfully enjoying Allison and on her road to recovery. Allison is sleeping and eating just great (burping and pooing too which is exiciting news when you have a new baby!) Holly I am sure is loving all the playtime with her Daddy and Grandparents and Steve is holding down the fort. Holly is understanding that mommy is staying at the doctors and she goes home with Daddy. She understands too that Baby Sister will be coming home to their house. Mystic Aquarium
ByKarenThis weekend we visited Mystic Aquarium. We received free press passes, I just have to blog about our trip. Easy enough considering it saved us over $100!! Yup you read that right, had we paid for all four of us it would of cost us over $100. $28 per adult and $20 per child 3 and over so we would of had to pay for Allison too. Plus they charged $3.00 to go on the Voyage adventure (Holly and I went) and then $3.00 each for us to feed the birds (we got 3 sticks of food). Total = $111 for 3 hours. Steve would of never paid it, I said we would of because the girls enjoyed it, but I’m glad we didn’t! lol…
