Cowgirl Boots are COOL when you are 7
ByKarenCowgirl boots are cool when you are 7 and 37. But this 7 year old recently discovered just how cool they are! Holly received the above pink cowgirl boots a few years ago from a friend – they were a hand me down. They didn’t fit her and pretty much were pushed to the back of her closet. One weekend I cleaned our her closet and they resurfaced again and………… she hasn’t taken them off since. This picture was taking on her 7th birthday and the bus driver thought she got these boots for her birthday. I explained that they were old and had been ‘rediscovered’ after some cleaning. Lollipop Seeds
ByKarenHave you heard of Lollipop Seeds? I hadn’t until Friday. Allison had to go to the dentist and while there they told us about how the Easter Bunny sometimes brings Lollipop Seeds the day before Easter which you then spread on the ground and when the Easter Bunny comes, he spreads his magic on them and Lollipop’s grown. Doesn’t that sound cool? So the ladies at the office told my girls that they’d get in touch with the EB and ask him to bring us some Lollipop seeds. Kid’s Today and Technology

Day Five of Spring Break School Vacation {Birthday Party}
ByKarenToday was day 5 of the girl’s spring break and the last day (not counting the weekend). To end the week we had a birthday party for Allison at AC Moore. She had her party there last year and loved it so much she asked to go there again. I don’t mind because not only is it affordable, but the staff is great and she can pick her own craft. Before we began, she had them write their name on the table (which was covered with kraft paper) and also to draw a picture. A lot of her friends drew pictures of zebras which I thought was adorable! Uncle Mark’s Visit
ByKarenWe were so sad when our friends Mark & Sue moved to Florida almost 4 years ago. But we knew that was where they wanted to be and this time they weren’t coming back. It was sad to say good bye to them, but we had too. Last October we were able to spend the day with them at The Magic Kingdom during our trip to Florda. We had a great time and we couldn’t believe how big the kids got. I have to dig out the picture we took of them and post it here another time.
