Happy Birthday Steve

This is what we woke up to this morning……….. Holly was so excited when I pulled up her shade to reveal the beautiful white stuff. She asked me if she could go out and play in the snow I told her yes we would go this aftrnoon. Stay tuned for more pictures from later today!

I received my new camera the week before the wedding so all the pictures I took were with that and I love it. It’s very similar to my old camera but it’s a newer version so somethings were improved and they changed the way some things worked so I’m still learning. But I am very happy with the pictures it took. Glad I had to get a new one. A few people have asked me how I made money to buy the camera. Well some of you know that I’ve become very frugal and save a LOT of money when I go shopping and I really enjoy taking surveys and doing mystery shopping. We finally was able to take the boat out for a ride on Saturday. They were expecting it to be hot and humid but instead it was beautiful and a great day to be outdoors, especially if you were on a boat! We had a fun time. Holly stayed behind with Grandma and Grandpa. Our friends Mark and Jeff came with us. I’m glad Mark came because he grew up on a boat too like Steve so he knows the language and what to do. Today we made our annual trip to Manfedi Farm’s Pumpkin Patch. Holly has been looking forward to going for a while and was very excited today! Allison really enjoyed it this year too. Last year she was just 6 months old and sat in the stroller just looking around. This year she touched the pumpkins, tried to pick up a few and enjoyed the ducks and the chickens. In the end, we left with a small pumpkin for Allison, a little bigger pumpkin for Holly, a medium size pumpkin for Holly to take to school to carve and paint and a bigger pumpkin for mommy to carve. Yesterday we went for our big ultrasound where they see the baby’s development and can usually tell the sex but this baby did NOT want to be seen! It stayed in the same position, head down, belly down, the entire time we were there. She couldn’t even see everything she wanted to see, let alone between it’s legs. We were both very disappointed, not just that we couldn’t find out if we were having a boy or a girl, but just that she could not confirm that everything is going well. The heartbeat was great…….love hearing the sound of it!!! It was nice and fast, just like it should be and we got to see an arm and a leg (barely) and a few other…

Just to start off, I don’t get as much keyboard time during the day where i can type, that’s why I haven’t been updating. It’s very hard to do an update one handed. Now that I’ve said that…..Here are a bunch of pictures that I’ve taken over the last week or so that I want to share. The girls are doing great. Allison is 6 months old, amazing!! We enjoy her so much, she’s such a sweet baby and so loving too. Holly still can’t get enough of her baby sister and now she likes to hold her in the rocking chair and sing her a lullaby before she goes to bed at night, it’s very sweet.
