Happy Birthday Steve

Today we made our annual trip to Manfedi Farm’s Pumpkin Patch. Holly has been looking forward to going for a while and was very excited today! Allison really enjoyed it this year too. Last year she was just 6 months old and sat in the stroller just looking around. This year she touched the pumpkins, tried to pick up a few and enjoyed the ducks and the chickens. In the end, we left with a small pumpkin for Allison, a little bigger pumpkin for Holly, a medium size pumpkin for Holly to take to school to carve and paint and a bigger pumpkin for mommy to carve. After dinner tonight the girls put on their ballet dresses and danced for us. It was really cute. I did get it on video but it’s too big to upload here so here are the pictures. Allison was copying whatever move Holly did, it’s so cute when she mimics her moves, except when Holly is doing something she shouldn’t. Our littlest Ballerina Miss Allison… Our bigger Ballerina loves to do twirls………… and I caught her in action…

Tuesday night we put the last coat of paint on the walls in the Nursery and I love it!! The yellow just looks so sunny and springy. Steve moved all the furniture back tonight so I’ll take a picture tomorrow and post it. This weekend, my mother is going to put the border up and slowly the room will start coming together. Pictures to come soon. Spring is starting to show it’s face around here. Today it was in the 60’s and just beautiful out. Holly and I played outside for a while and I even took my coat off. Yesterday we found the first signs of spring and they were in the same spot they are every single year, Crocuses. They pop up first…

Allison was 2 months old on Sunday. She is getting so big too! We went for her check up yesterday and she weighs 10lbs 4 oz and is 22 1/4 inches long. The doctor was very happy with that. She’s growing perfectly! She also had her first round of shots. Mommy doesn’t like the shots anymore than her girls do. Allison actually did pretty well, she didn’t cry too much with the first one, but the second one must of really hurt because she screamed! The third one she was already screaming so that just continued. But after less than a minute she was fine again so I think she did really well. Unfortunately, she’s been running a very slight fever since she got them…

I tried scrapbooking this weekend and while I did get 3 pages done, I’m not happy with any of them so I’ll try to re-work them until I’m somewhat satisfied. I seemed to have lost my scrappin mo-jo. Since that wasn’t working and I was really in the mood to scrap, I decided to try some digi scrapping. I purchased some templates from Gina Miller Designs last week so I thought they might help to get me going. Well it worked and I got 2 pages done. Then I took some time to organize my digital items to make it easier. I think this week I’ll just stick to digital and see what happens. Here are the 2 pages I did do…

Last night Steve was taking pictures of me, every few weeks I get a belly shot so I can later scrapbook my progress. Anyways, Holly wanted to be in the picture, of course I did not mind at all. And then I had to get a kiss in, love kissing those cheeks!!! And we had to get a picture with daddy too. Oh how we love this little girl!!!!
