Happy Birthday Steve

I’m trying really hard to get into a routine to update here more often, but my life isn’t that exciting to post something every day. I did take some cute pictures of Holly today but I haven’t uploaded them yet and as soon as I do I’ll post them. Here are a few of my more recent scrapbook pages of Holly. Of course they are of Holly, I don’t scrapbook anything but her anymore!! I love paper scrapping but I’m very interested in trying out digital scrappin. I just need a HUGE block of time to sit at my computer and learn, which I don’t have right now. Someday, maybe when Holly is 6. LOL

I can’t believe how big the girls are getting. I look at Holly and the baby is gone and so is the toddler. She is getting to be such a big girl it amazes me that not to long ago she was a baby. It’s like I blinked and she’s 3 1/2. And I know November will be here before we know it and she’ll be 4!!! Allison, wow she grew too fast. Funny how the first year for the second baby seems to fly by! I can’t believe she is already ONE and walking and trying to run and feeding herself (not all the time but she takes over pretty fast). We went on Monday to The Picture People to have Holly’s Official Easter picture taken. I’d do it myself but I can’t get her to look at the camera anymore. I also don’t have a place to take it without stuff in the background so off to The Picture People we go. The last time we were there was on her 1st Birthday. The thing about them is that the kids can stand up. She started walking at 9 months so by 1 year she was running and I knew she wouldn’t sit for a picture. When we did her birthday picture it was very hard to keep her in front of the camera, she kept wanted to walk out of the room, play with…

I keep trying with the barrette’s and pony tails and the more I try, the longer she keeps them in. Maybe someday we will be up to an entire day! The thing is, she looks so cute especially with pig tails, if only she’d keep them in. Recently one morning when I washed her hair, she actually asked me to put some things in her hair. I took this opportunity to give her pig tails. I always wore my hair in pig tails when I was little and I’d love to do that with Holly (now if only her hair would grow more, that would help). She looked so adorable!!!! Finally, Holly is getting into letting us read to her. She’s always enjoyed her books…

Yesterday we went for our big ultrasound where they see the baby’s development and can usually tell the sex but this baby did NOT want to be seen! It stayed in the same position, head down, belly down, the entire time we were there. She couldn’t even see everything she wanted to see, let alone between it’s legs. We were both very disappointed, not just that we couldn’t find out if we were having a boy or a girl, but just that she could not confirm that everything is going well. The heartbeat was great…….love hearing the sound of it!!! It was nice and fast, just like it should be and we got to see an arm and a leg (barely) and a few other…

Holly is doing great.Today (Monday), Steve went in to check on Holly before he left for work because she was tossing and turning and he noticed she had no pants on. He asked her why she took of her pants and her diaper and she said to him “it’s much better like this daddy” then she told him she had to go pee pees on the potty so he told her to get up and go and she did!! He then came to wake me up and tell me what just happened and to let me know that the bed was not wet and her diaper was pretty dry. We have no idea when she took it off but we suspect it was shortly before…
