Scrapbooking Oh My!

That is Holly’s new phrase this week, “I can’t” and she means it, well at least she tries to. When I asked her to pick up her cheerios that spilled on the floor she said to me “I can’t”. Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you all had a great Christmas. We had a wonderful day and it was so much fun with Holly and Allison this year. Holly was every excited about Santa and this was really the first year with so much excitement. It reminded me of when I was a little girl and I’d get so excited too. I’m amazed she fell asleep so easily too. When she got up this morning she was in complete awe that Santa actually came and knocked down hers and Allison’s stockings, but he filled them up so that was OK. (Once they were full, they couldn’t say on the holders but she didn’t get that part, she thought he knocked them down, how cute). The…

We don’t have anymore gates up, except for the top of the stairs. Now Allison can get into every room which isn’t really a problem EXCEPT the one fact of she LOVES to play with all the hair pieces and everything in the bottom draws of the bathroom sink (no cleaning stuff there). She takes everything out and lines it up, then puts it back. She thinks I don’t know she’s doing it but mommy always knows. This happens almost every week when Holly’s in school and mommy’s doing something. The good thing is most of the time she will clean it up too, most of the the time. 🙂

Lots of Pictures!!! I seem to take so many pictures of Holly some weeks. This little girl will seriously be able to enjoy her childhood again by looking through pictures. Some of them are taken of everything she does throughout the day. For instance yesterday. Here she is watching Blues Clues in her onesie, drinking her juice. She tries to ignore the camera, but it’s still there, snapping away. Here she is after her bath, while the barette is still in her hair (wasn’t there very long). That’s what you could call our house last week. We were all sick. Holly started it all with a cold/cough/slight fever. The Allison started coughing and had a runny nose. Then Steve started with a sore throat, stuffy nose and cough, then Allison got worse and started with a fever that would NOT go away. That’s when I called the doctor and asked to bring her in. I was thinking maybe she had an ear infection but I also wanted to make sure her lungs were clear. I was wrong about both. Instead the poor little thing has the Flu and RSV! And of course both of them are virus’s so nothing can really help but rest/fluids and lots of cleaning of the nose (she…
