Scrapbooking Oh My!

Today was Holly’s first day of her new preschool. She was VERY excited this morning and could not wait to get there. She got dressed right when she got up and was ready to go. She sat on Santa’s lap!!! I was so excited, more than she was. This is her 3rd Christmas and I finally got her to sit on his lap. I’m so proud of her. We met Lil David and Jodi at the mall yesterday and when we walked in, Santa was the first place we saw. At first Holly got shy and looked away when Santa waved hi. But after a little while she wanted to go up to see him, and play with the stuff that was there around him. I can’t believe it but Holly is 4 years old today. How fast did that happen? Wow! She is such a sweet girl too. We had a birthday party for her yesterday and she loved all her presents and had such sweet reactions to. Today we opened up some of the toys and she just had a ball. I’m trying to hold her off from opening them all so she doesn’t get tired of them too fast. We’ll see how long it takes to get them all opened. Allison has been enjoying her presents too. We got a lot of snow yesterday. There is probably about 7 inches. That’s a lot to shovel. But my man did the job and he’s now exhausted! He did really good since we need room to put a few cars this coming week for Christmas. We have a stone driveway (most of you know that) and we really hope to get it paved in 2010. I love this picture of Steve and Holly. We were getting ready to go out and Steve was putting Holly’s coat on her and I snapped this picture. Even though Holly isn’t looking at the camera, it still makes a great shot. The Two Loves of my LIFE!!! I’m always telling Steve how much she is like him. This past week the girls and I went to Mystic with Nana and Papa (Steve’s parents). It was so crowded but we still had a good time. The girls loved it. They went a few weeks ago with Steve but he didn’t have the camera with him but I had it this time.
