Scrapbooking Oh My!

That’s what I am… A bad blogger. Sorry. I just don’t get as many good pictures and videos of Holly lately. She’s onto me. When she see’s the camera she runs the other way. I guess after 10,000 pictures in less than 2 years, it gets pretty old. But today, she seemed to be in a good picture taking mood. So I got a few cute shots of her. I tried really hard because I know that some people are looking at my blog daily just to see another cute picture of Holly. I tried scrapbooking this weekend and while I did get 3 pages done, I’m not happy with any of them so I’ll try to re-work them until I’m somewhat satisfied. I seemed to have lost my scrappin mo-jo. Since that wasn’t working and I was really in the mood to scrap, I decided to try some digi scrapping. I purchased some templates from Gina Miller Designs last week so I thought they might help to get me going. Well it worked and I got 2 pages done. Now that Holly is moved into her new room, we can start working on the nursery. I defiantly want to change the theme. I need something different because I’ve been looking at Holly’s room for almost 3 years. Change is good. We decided (well I guess really I decided) to paint the nursery yellow. I’ve been wanting a yellow room in my house and since my husband really isn’t into painting the rest of the house, why not have my yellow in the nursery. My mother has been spending a lot of time over here lately and she’s been such a great help. Her and Holly have been having fun too. She’s trying really hard to get Holly to accept a barrett in her hair. She’s not having much luck but she did managed to get her to keep one in for a while. Maybe if we keep trying, she’ll eventually just accept them. She looks so cute!!! We are trying once again to get her to go on the potty. She loves to sit there but nothing comes out. I think once she goes the first time, she’ll be so happy and proud that she will want to go again. I’m trying and we are now using M&M;’s…

“ok mom”“here it is, mom”“i love you, mom”“can I have a snack, mom?”“thank you, mom” That’s what I’ve been hearing from Holly for about a week now, “mom”. I still get the occasional “mommy” but most of the day, I am just “mom”. This seems a little to early to make the shift from “mommy” to “mom”. I mean, she’s only been 3 for 2 months. I don’t think I’m ready to be “mom”……I am still “mommy”. I need to slow down time, my Holly is growing up way too fast.
