Guess Who???

So much fun playing in the water. Holly had a blast, once again, playing in her pool. She LOVES to splash and toss the water out off the pool. She hasn’t emptied it yet, but I have a feeling she’s working towards it some days. She really does know how to have fun and I love to watch her.  

I impaitently waited for my laptop to arrive today….it was a long day!! I was like a kid on Christmas morning waiting for her parents to wake up. It finally arrived at 3:31pm. I was so excited…but it took for ever to get all the updates I needed and to add the virus protection and then I had to cook dinner…why didn’t we get take-out tonight? But I’ve got it now and it’s up and running and now I just need to transfer everything to it. What a chore….but a good chore. Thanks again Steve and Holly for my awesome Birthday Gift. I guess turning 33 isn’t so bad after all.

I love the summer, but not the heat. We defiently do so much more in the summer than any other time of year. Things we LOVE about summer: 1. POOL When we were looking for a house a pool was NOT a priority and when we found one with it, we figured it was a great bonus. We had no idea how awesome it would be to have a pool. We have a huge yard so right after Steve mows the lawn (on his riding mower) he jumps right into the pool to cool off. Makes mowing more fun. The first summer here we knew the pool was worth it and last year was even better because Holly LOVED the water. I’m hoping she enjoys…

Allison turned 10 months old this week, hard to believe that she’ll be 1 in just two months. As I’ve said before, where did the time go???She’s doing really well. She has been crawling like crazy since Christmas and pulls herself up on everything and is now cruising along the furniture. She really has the desire to stand and move along but she hasn’t tried to take any of her own steps yet. Still not letting go. But her balance is getting better and better every week so she probably will be walking by her 1st birthday.She seems to be going through a growth spurt and is eating so much more lately, but not so much in the form of baby food, but in the…

Today was moving day, for Holly at least. We finally finished painting her new room and it’s all ready for her. We began by moving her crib into the room this morning, boy was that fun. We were really hoping not to have to take the entire crib apart but we had to unassemble quite a bit of it to get it through the doors. Live and Learn. We’ve decided to move her with the crib first and then when she is nice and settled in there, we’ll get her a bed. Then we had to break for haircuts. That was a very short lived bug, thank goodness. By Tuesday morning her fever broke and by the end of the day she was pretty much back to her normal self. I’m glad that didn’t last too long. This morning she’s fine, except she got up on the wrong side of the crib! LOL Hopefully that will change after her morning nap.
