That’s Right………

Today was like Holly’s first ever Halloween. Of course in her mind it was because she doesn’t remember Halloween’s of the past even though she’s always enjoyed it. No, it was like she experienced it for the first time today and we LOVED it!! It all began last Tuesday night when we told her that tomorrow was Halloween and she would be going trick or treating with Jakob tomorrow night. She knew Halloween was coming but had no idea when. She woke up this morning (Halloween) and was crying. I asked her what the problem was and she said that it wasn’t trick or treat today. We finally was able to take the boat out for a ride on Saturday. They were expecting it to be hot and humid but instead it was beautiful and a great day to be outdoors, especially if you were on a boat! We had a fun time. Holly stayed behind with Grandma and Grandpa. Our friends Mark and Jeff came with us. I’m glad Mark came because he grew up on a boat too like Steve so he knows the language and what to do. Tuesday night we put the last coat of paint on the walls in the Nursery and I love it!! The yellow just looks so sunny and springy. Steve moved all the furniture back tonight so I’ll take a picture tomorrow and post it. This weekend, my mother is going to put the border up and slowly the room will start coming together. Allison is doing so well. She is such a good baby and easy too. She is sleeping GREAT and eating up a storm. She seems to have mommy’s appetite! She goes for her 1 week check up tomorrow and I’m sure her doctor will be pleased with her. We are enjoying her so much, when she is awake though that’s not too much. Holly just LOVES her baby sister and gets so upset when she goes to sleep. She was having fun ‘playing’ with Allison while she was in her crib watching her butterfly/dragonfly mobile but after a while Allison started falling asleep. Allison is One month old today. I can’t believe how fast this month went by. She has grown so much and I can’t wait to take her to the doctor’s tomorrow and she how much she’s grown because I know she has. She received this cute zebra as a present when she was born from the ladies that own Curves (where I used to work) and I’m going to take a picture of her with it each month so we can see her grow. We had a nice weekend, but it’s nice to get back into what ever normal is in our house. For Christmas Eve, my inlaws, my parents, Uncle Rick and Auntie Connie and our friend Melissa all came for a nice Italian dinner. Not the traditional italian christmas eve of fish and seafood, but my own version of an Italian dinner….Salad, homemade Lasagna, homemade meatballs and sausage, homemade eggplant parm and lots of yummy Italian bread!! What’s an Italian meal with out yummy bread. OH and top that off with a real yummy Italian dessert with lots of cream and friut. I have no idea what it was called but it was good!!!
