2 Months Old….

On Tuesday Holly and I took a trip to the mall to meet Jodi and Little David to have a picture taken of the kids. Here’s how the trip went… Click Here

We are happy to announce that we will be having our second baby girl in April and she looks great! Everything in the ultrasound is perfect and we are so excited. All those cloths of Holly’s that she didn’t get to wear much because she has so many, will have a change to be worn by her little sister. Yup, Allison is up on her feet, not walking yet, trying to figure out how to cruise, but she is up!! She started pulling herself up over the weekend. We used to put things on Holly’s Dora table that Allison couldn’t have, but we can’t do that anymore. First she would get up on her knees to see what she could grab, but after just a few days, she started pulling herself up on her feet and now she can reach just about anything on that table, she can also push it over, like she did today, opps! She’s standing along the couch, standing in her crib and trying to pull herself up on my pants leg. She even turned the volume down on her…

While Jodi was visiting, she did the girls hair… they look like Princess Lea in Star Wars (is that how to spell her name?)  Jodi loves doing the girls hair because she has two boys.  After she did their hair she wanted to take a picture of them but the girls were having one of their moments.  They didn’t want to be next to each other or to even touch each other. So Jodi said to them “Make believe you like each other for a minute”.  And this is the result of that….. Holly the little actress went along with it and ‘made believe’ she was going to put her arm around her sister.  Allison pretty much stood there because she was told too trying…

Allison is usually very good about going to bed. She has been from the beginning. We didn’t have to go through any kind of sleep training with her, like we did with Holly. And I’m happy about that because it wasn’t easy. When it’s time for her to go to bed I tell her and then she goes to give Steve a hug and kiss (and she pats him on the back while she hugs him, it’s so cute) and then she runs up to Holly and puts her arms all the way around her, sometimes almost knocking her over. And then I get my hug and kiss and off to bed with Zebra. I kept meaning to get a picture of her hugging Holly…

Allison is getting to the age where she is starting to ‘play’ with Holly and Holly just loves it. While I was folding cloths downstairs the other day, they were on the floor with Holly’s tea set and play food and they were having a ‘coffee party’ according to Holly. How cute! Before bed the other night, Allison was sitting in her chair playing with her little dog and she dropped it on the floor, so Holly went over and picked it up for and Allison thought it was the funniest thing and started cracking up. So Holly picked it up again and the cycle of fun began. They were having a blast. I grabbed the camera and was able to get this little video….
