We have YELLOW!!!!

Holly and Allison really LOVE each other. Allison’s face just lights up when Holly walks into the room and she gets so excited. And whenever Allison wakes from a nap, Holly’s face lights up when she sees her. It’s so great to see how much they love each other. I’m sure this will change as they get older, but I’m just enjoying it for now. Here are some cute pictures I got of them together last week. Our little Princess Holly. Well, Holly’s still not better. Today she’s completely not herself. Steve woke me at 7am and said she was awake but just laying there playing with her hands. I told him to go get her and bring her into bed with me (cuz she loves to play on the bed) and when he did, she just layed there..then wanted to get down and started with that wine/grunt sound. So I told him to get her some juice. She sucked down 3/4 of the cup. She sat with me while she did that so I had my “bottle” moment. Allison received a really FUN Water Table for her birthday from her Godfather Joe, Becky, Joey and Tommy. What a great gift, she LOVES it!! And so does Holly. While Daddy and Holly were in the pool on Thursday Allison played with the water table. Here are a few pictures. Jodi and David spent a few days with us while Steve was on his trip. We had a really nice time and the kids were really excited to see each other. David and Holly decided that they were going to get married and they did. They are now friends forever. It was cute. Notice Holly had on her high heals and Jodi did her hair. We had a ‘fake’ ceremony and everything. The shared a hug, not a kiss. We have many years before the kisses start, I hope! They were just too cute and had a lot of fun at the ‘wedding’.

We don’t let Holly take any toys into her crib. We just never did. Before her morning nap today she was playing with her baby doll (that’s what we call her) so nice. She’s been playing with her a lot lately, carrying her around the house, just like a little mommy. Well, I decided today to try something and let her take baby doll with her for her nap. I looked in on her after a few minutes and she was laying there, touching baby doll, I thinking she found a tag on her cloths. Holly looks forward everyday for her daddy to come home from work. She’s usually waiting by the door to see his car pull up and then she gets all excited. They have their play time after dinner and boy do they play. I think sometimes Holly thinks she’s a boy and likes to rough house. It’s really cute watching them play. Holly has learned to use daddy as a human slide….it’s the funniest thing and they both enjoy it. I don’t hear daddy complaining.
