The Knock, Knock game……

Now that Holly is moved into her new room, we can start working on the nursery. I defiantly want to change the theme. I need something different because I’ve been looking at Holly’s room for almost 3 years. Change is good. We decided (well I guess really I decided) to paint the nursery yellow. I’ve been wanting a yellow room in my house and since my husband really isn’t into painting the rest of the house, why not have my yellow in the nursery. The girls both needed new winter hats. Holly’s were to small from last year, even though she looked cute and Allison was wearing one of Holly’s older hats, but it was a little snug and we needed a back up anyways. We met my mother at Sears and she bought them each a Hat and Mitten set. Allison didn’t want to wear it (I guess she doesn’t like change either) so to make it ‘fun’ I had them wear them when we got home. They LOVED it! And I was able to get this cute picture of them.

So glad today is Friday. I like Fridays..especially if we go out for pizza, which we will do as long as Holly takes an afternoon snooze. I’m not sure if that will happen because she slept in a little today so we’ll have to see. This past weekend our GREAT friends Karen, Charlie and Jessica came over to help us put together the swing set that the girl’s grandparents bought them. It was an all day Sunday project. Steve has been putting up the swings and toys during the week, but the entire structure was done on Sunday. Last night Steve got Allison’s swing up. This is her first time on a swing and she LOVED IT. She giggled the entire time. I finally had the chance to take Allison for her 6 month pictures yesterday, even though she will be 7 months next week! She did a great job, after I change her diaper. She wasn’t too happy taking pictures in a dirty diaper, can’t say I blame her. Here is our little superstar…. Tomorrow I will post our bigger superstar’s pictures since it’s her 3rd Birthday!
