The Knock, Knock game……

Here we are back at Monday morning. I used to HATE Mondays but now I like them. It’s a fresh start to a new week. I get the house back in order from the weekend and Holly and I plan our week. It helps that I don’t have to jump out of bed, get dressed and head out the door. That’s probably why I don’t Hate Monday’s anymore. But we had a nice weekend. My inlaws came and stayed the weekend (Hi Marge!!) and Holly loved it! Then we had a nice dinner at my parents house (Hi Mom!!) for Palm Sunday. My mother is a GREAT cook. Holly loves my Glasses and LOVES to put them on herself. Isn’t she cute?? I think she’s OH SO CUTE!!! Jodi thinks she looks just like Steve with them on and I agree. She makes my heart melt all the time.

The girls and I are finally feeling better. Holly still has a little bit of a cough but last night she didn’t wake up coughing so that is good. I felt so bad for Holly last week because she was running a fever for two days and she just hung out, but she was so sweet even though she was sick. She also has learned to give into being tired and will take a nap now. She hasn’t had a regular nap since she was 2! She naps at school two days a week and I didn’t think she’d even nap there and she does. So when she was sick, she wasn’t afraid to tell me she was tired. I got the cutest picture of…

When it was time to come inside Holly asked if we could have some Hot Chocolate, so I said “sure!”. She was all excited, this was the first time she was trying it. I mixed it up, added some cold milk to cool it down and then added one of her favorite things……… marshmallows!! Oh Boy life can’t get better than this right now (she is thinking). She LOVED it! Of course she didn’t drink much, which is what I expected, but she sure did eat all the marshmallows. She’s such a cutie.

Allison has discovered that she can get herself up onto the couch, Holly’s rocking chair, the Dora chairs (though she topples over in those quite often) and now she’s trying to get onto the dining room chairs. She can’t quite do it yet, but she’s trying. I helped her up yesterday morning and we sat together for a while. I was able to get some really cute pictures of her. She was still in her pajama’s but she looked adorable, of course. She grabbed the phone off the table and began pushing the buttons and ‘talking’ on the phone.
