The Knock, Knock game……

What a blah kinda day today is!! Good day to get the house back in order after Holly and I being sick this past week. A friend of mine posted the coolest thing on Personal Scrapper today that she received in an email. This: On Wednesday of this week,at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning & in the afternoon,the time and date will be 01:02:03 04/05/06 That won’t ever happen again. Pretty Cool, huh? Speaking of Personal Scrapper we had an online crop over a week ago and I did 10 layouts. That’s pretty good for me in a 24 hour time period. Here are a few of the layouts I did.

well, at least for picture taking! I took tons of pictures between Friday and Sunday. Of course I love every one of them…but I’ll just post a few. Friday, after Holly’s bath, I snapped a few pictures of her. When I say a few, I took about 30 of them (hehehe). She just looks so big in these pictures, maybe it’s because she doesn’t have any cloths on, but I can’t believe how big my little girl is getting. How fast did that happen! OK One more I absolutely LOVE….. We got lots of snow here on Thursday so Steve was able to take Holly out in the snow to play this time. She had so much fun. She absolutely LOVES the snow. On Friday Holly went to get her bangs cut (I can’t believe how fast this kids hair grows!!) and I decided to have Betsy take off about 2 1/5 inches from the back. She complains all the time when I brush it because it’s getting really knotty as it gets longer and also in the winter it gets very flyaway with the cold air so less hair to fly away. Holly really didn’t mind cutting a bit and it’s still long, just not as long. I think she looks cute. I know when my father sees it he won’t be happy, he loves long hair on little girls. When I was a kid, I had really long hair and for some reason ( I think…

We had pretty busy weekend, but not too bad. Got a lot done. My inlaws are replacing their bed in the spare room with a bigger bed, so they gave us their old one, which is much more comfortable than the one we had in our spare room. So on Saturday they brought that over. Holly and Nana had a lot of fun playing in her new room with Dora’s castle. Holly loves when Nana comes over because she’s a FUN playmate. Wednesday Holly and I had a Target shopping date with Jodi and Lil David. We had a very nice time and the kids were so good. At first Holly didn’t want David sitting in the car next to her but soon he was making her laugh and they really had a great time. All David wants to do is hold Holly’s hand, but she thinks wants to take her stuff (maybe he does sometimes) but most of the time he just wants to touch her and make her laugh. They are so cute together and they really do seem to enjoy each other. Whenever we were out of their site in Target you could hear Holly say “David, where are you??” it was too cute….

I did a digital layout tonight of Holly’s Year in Review. There are some of my favorite pictures from each month of 2006. It’s amazing how much she changed from January to December. She no longer has that “baby” look, she’s all toddler, and boy is she ever!
