Coffee with A Friend
ByKarenI love coffee – most people that know me know I love coffee. Allison loves that I love coffee too. She relates the smell of coffee with me and it’s a comfort smell for her. It’s sort of cute! Making Pizza With Nonnie
ByKarenMy mother is a great cook. And I’m not just saying this because she reads my blog. She really is a great cook! The girls think so too though most times if you ask Allison who is the best cook she will say “Mommy!” and then “Nonnie!”. I know I’m not a better cook than my mother, but I’m happy to hear I’m Allison’s favorite cook! One thing she makes that is really yummy is her pizza! And she makes it every Friday. Uncle Mark’s Visit
ByKarenWe were so sad when our friends Mark & Sue moved to Florida almost 4 years ago. But we knew that was where they wanted to be and this time they weren’t coming back. It was sad to say good bye to them, but we had too. Last October we were able to spend the day with them at The Magic Kingdom during our trip to Florda. Day One of Spring Break School Vacation {Shopping}
ByKarenWe are on school vacation this week and I promised the girls we’d do at least one fun thing a day but I do still have to work. They love going to the mall, well Holly does (Allison prefers to not walk around too much) and they had some Easter money burning a hole in their pockets so we had to go spend it! Mystic 2 Years Later & A promise for more!
ByKarenIt’s been two years since I’ve updated this blog. My other blog KouponKaren.com took off like crazy so this sort of got pushed to the back burner AND Facebook is so much easier to update with pictures of the kids and what we’ve been up too. But I have all this stuff here, just sitting in space, of them when they were babies so I will be updating this from time to time. Day Five of Spring Break School Vacation {Birthday Party}
ByKarenToday was day 5 of the girl’s spring break and the last day (not counting the weekend). To end the week we had a birthday party for Allison at AC Moore. She had her party there last year and loved it so much she asked to go there again. I don’t mind because not only is it affordable, but the staff is great and she can pick her own craft. Before we began, she had them write their name on the table (which was covered with kraft paper) and also to draw a picture. A lot of her friends drew pictures of zebras which I thought was adorable! This is the new family. Holly is taking a break from climbing up and down mommy’s hospital bed. The little cap that Allison is wearing has been worn by all 4 of my grandchildren. Jonathan 8 1/2, Kristopher 5, Holly 2 1/2 and Allison at 2 days old. We will now put it to rest until they all have children of their own. My precious FOUR. A very grateful grandmother!
Oh Ang that is so nice about the little cap. That is what I thought but I wasn’t sure. What a nice family picture of Steve, Karen, Holly & Allison. And the picture of Holly laying on the floor is priceless! Congratulations AGain!
