Allison The Snow Princess
ByKarenAllison still loves Dora. She doesn’t watch the show too much, but she loves Dora’s books. She has a pile of them sitting in her bed that she reads to Eeka at night. She knows most of the stories herself now after hearing them so much. I love listening to her ‘read’ the stories because she is right on with so many of the details. Today we were in Job Lot and we went by the kids book aisle. I noticed some Dora books and went through them all to see what she had and didn’t have. Allison’s Cursive Writing
ByKarenAllison wants to learn everything Holly learns. When Holly was learning to do math in Kindergarten, Allison learned to do math. When Holly was learning to count by 5’s and 10’s. Allison learned. Allison then figured out how to count by 2’s just by the logic that it was every other number, no one taught her. Allison is smart, and hopefully will continue to enjoy learning new things as she gets older and won’t push school work aside for something else. Holly is in 2nd grade now and she is learning to write cursive and is loving it. Holly has very neat printing and her cursive is looking to be neat as well. She’s still working on it. Boxes and more Boxes……….
ByKarenWe still have boxes. It’s been almost 2 months but the girls rooms still have boxes in them. IT doesn’t look like this anymore.. (Allison popped up from behind a box when I snapped the picture!) ….but the boxes in the back corner that you see in that picture are still not unpacked. The problem is they are full of toys – toys that they probably don’t need since they haven’t played with them in like 3 months considering they were packed up before we moved. Why do they have so many toys? Because I can’t resist myself. I see something they will like and I find a way to get it. In my defense, a lot of the toys are for review on the…

Allison’s Trip to the Dentist
ByKarenWhen Holly was little(er) and I took her to the Dentist for the first time, she completly freaked out. She didn’t want to open her mouth because she was scared they were going to hurt her. We have one of the nicest dental hygenist and she has twins the same age as Holly so she knew exactly how to handle children. But it didn’t work, Holly wanted nothing to do with it. Fast forward 3 years and she still doesn’t like the Dentist and I make Steve take her because she tries to run out of the room. It’s rather amusing and stressful all at the same time. And then there is Allison…………. Allison has always been pretty easy going, not afraid of anything really….

Me & My Silly Girls
ByKarenWe spent the weekend at my parents while Steve was traveling and before we left I wanted to leave some cute pictures of the girls on my mother’s camera. They were so silly. The camera settings were off at first so some of them are blurry but they were too cute to not post. Allison was being silly closing her eyes. Holly thinks she’s a model, always striking a pose. Allison isn’t quite sure what to do. She figured it out. lol

This is the new family. Holly is taking a break from climbing up and down mommy’s hospital bed. The little cap that Allison is wearing has been worn by all 4 of my grandchildren. Jonathan 8 1/2, Kristopher 5, Holly 2 1/2 and Allison at 2 days old. We will now put it to rest until they all have children of their own. My precious FOUR. A very grateful grandmother!
Oh Ang that is so nice about the little cap. That is what I thought but I wasn’t sure. What a nice family picture of Steve, Karen, Holly & Allison. And the picture of Holly laying on the floor is priceless! Congratulations AGain!
