Summertime…

Happy Birthday My Friend!!!! We’ve know each other for about 23 years……..wow………that’s a long time!!! We’ve had a lot of fun over the years and we’ve had a LOT of laughs. I’m so glad we got back in touch so we can continue being friends for another 23 plus years!!! I hope you have a great day and you get exactly what you want for your birthday. Allison is standing a LOT! Just about anything she can pull herself up on, she does. Saturday morning, Steve was holding her while she waited for her bottle and when I gave it to her, I told him he could just sit her down on the floor and she’d hold it all by herself. Well he figured he’d lean her against the couch, sitting down. She did NOT want to sit, she wanted to stand so when he put her down, she wouldn’t bend her legs so here is how he left her. We went on Monday to The Picture People to have Holly’s Official Easter picture taken. I’d do it myself but I can’t get her to look at the camera anymore. I also don’t have a place to take it without stuff in the background so off to The Picture People we go. The last time we were there was on her 1st Birthday. The thing about them is that the kids can stand up. She started walking at 9 months so by 1 year she was running and I knew she wouldn’t sit for a picture. I really do have the best husband and daughter in the entire world!! Or I’m just spoiled..one or the other. But I think they are great. Steve decided to buy me for my birthday a brand new Laptop!!!! I said earlier in the year that eventually I’d like a laptop and knew we’d go wireless at some point. Steve said sure, probably by the end of the year and for Christmas. We’ll he decided it could be my birthday gift too! We went last night to pick one out and of course the one we wanted wasn’t in stock, but they’ll ship it to our house for free and it will be here the day before my birthday. That works for me!! Yesterday was my birthday and Holly picked some flowers outside for me. It was the best gift! She was so excited to give them to me. She even helped me put them in a vase and they are so pretty! It was kind of warm out yesterday so we set up the sprinkler and Holly had a blast! I tried to get some cute pictures of her, but she moves so fast it’s not that easy. Yesterday Holly and I went to the play area at the Waterford Mall with her friend Chloe and Chloe’s mom Cara. It was so much fun! Holly had a blast! I tried taking lots of pictures but most of them didn’t come out to well, she was moving way to fast for me. The minute I took her out of her carriage she was off and and just started running around with a HUGE smile on her face. There were a lot of kids there, mostly bigger than her so it was a little crazy because they weren’t being very careful of the little ones. But Holly and Chloe did fine on their own.
