Snow Day!!!

This past weekend our GREAT friends Karen, Charlie and Jessica came over to help us put together the swing set that the girl’s grandparents bought them. It was an all day Sunday project. Steve has been putting up the swings and toys during the week, but the entire structure was done on Sunday. Last night Steve got Allison’s swing up. This is her first time on a swing and she LOVED IT. She giggled the entire time. Well yesterday was day 2 and it looks like there will be may days to go…of course I need to be patient, but how come she didn’t come potty trained?? LOL Back to yesterday. I asked her before she got dressed if she wanted to go on the potty and of course she got all excited and ran to the bathroom. We got undressed, sat down, smiled, got up, closed the cover to the potty, opened it, sat down, smiled, got up, closed the cover, opened it, sat down, smiled got up..etc. She just kept repeating the process over and over. Finally some pee’s came out but she got up while she was in the process and it was in the potty, on the seat…

It’s been almost a year, I know but I’ve become much busier in the last year and this just kind of fell through the cracks, I’m sorry. But let’s just forget about all that and enjoy these pictures because it could be another year before I post anymore (just kidding, I will try). Holly started Tennis lessons last night. She loves playing it on the Wii so I figured why not let her learn how to play in real life. The lessons are only 30 minutes each week (which I found out was just enough time for them) on Friday afternoon’s for 4 weeks. We had a nice LONG Easter weekend that began on Thursday when our friends arrived. Jodi and Lil David came to spend a few days with Holly and I because Steve was going on a trip (A trip that once again didn’t happen LOL). Holly and David were SO EXCITED when they saw each other, it was so adorable. They really are buddies and enjoy each other. They had a great time and played so well together, even better than I expected! Holly’s has had some issues recently with sharing so I expected a problem, but she did so well, we had a few issues but nothing like I imagined. Holly and I planted some seeds earlier in the summer. We didn’t water them very often and then we went almost a month without rain so I didn’t expect anything to bloom.
