Snow Day!!!

Allison is 2 weeks old today and she’s doing great. She is such a good baby, she does have her fussy moments, but overall she’s just so pleasant. We are really enjoying her and she’s letting mommy get some decent sleep at night so that’s always good! Holly is still enjoying being a little helper when it’s time to do things for Allison. She even lets me know when she’s awake from her naps. It’s really sweet to see her with Allison and she kisses her all the time. I hope Holly continues to love her little sister. I hope! Holly is back to herself, like she’d never even been sick. I’m glad for that..I missed her little spirit running around the house talking on her phone, playing with her little people, dancing with dora. All that is back and more. Now we need to get Mommy back on the mend. I ended up catching what she had and was in bed Friday night when Steve got home. I spent the day in bed on Saturday and Sunday I was started to feel better. So far so good today. Now lets just hope that Steve doesn’t catch it. Tomorrow I plan on disinfecting the house to get rid of this bug. I just don’t have all my energy back today to do it….

I keep trying with the barrette’s and pony tails and the more I try, the longer she keeps them in. Maybe someday we will be up to an entire day! The thing is, she looks so cute especially with pig tails, if only she’d keep them in. Recently one morning when I washed her hair, she actually asked me to put some things in her hair. I took this opportunity to give her pig tails. I always wore my hair in pig tails when I was little and I’d love to do that with Holly (now if only her hair would grow more, that would help). She looked so adorable!!!! Finally, Holly is getting into letting us read to her. She’s always enjoyed her books…

No picture with Santa yesterday. That’s ok, i really didn’t expect that she would but it was worth a try. She did enjoy seeing him at first glimpse, then lost interest and just wanted to see the balls on the christmas trees (she’s obsessed with anything round!). But we tried and if I can get to the mall again next week, I’ll try again. I’m not going to push it. She’s never had her picture taken with Santa yet, but someday she will I’m sure. She received a christmas gift from my husband’s aunt and uncle this past weekend. They bought her a dora table and chairs. She LOVED IT!!! We have it set up in our TV/Playroom right now and hope to move it…

The tired princess…… Playing in the sand at the playground, one of her favorite places to be! “Mommy look, a BIG rock!!” Sunday we went to my parents house for Palm Sunday dinner. Holly loves playing with her cousins and I was able to get a cute picture of her and Jonathan and then the three of them.
