Snow Day!!!

That’s what you could call our house last week. We were all sick. Holly started it all with a cold/cough/slight fever. The Allison started coughing and had a runny nose. Then Steve started with a sore throat, stuffy nose and cough, then Allison got worse and started with a fever that would NOT go away. That’s when I called the doctor and asked to bring her in. I was thinking maybe she had an ear infection but I also wanted to make sure her lungs were clear. I was wrong about both. Instead the poor little thing has the Flu and RSV! And of course both of them are virus’s so nothing can really help but rest/fluids and lots of cleaning of the nose (she…

Easter morning Holly didn’t really understand that the Easter Bunny was coming so I got to sleep in before she got her basket. Once I was up, her basket appeared in her room on her Dora chair. She was so excited when she saw it and her favorite thing in the whole entire basket was a little plastic flute that cost .25. Go Figure. But we were happy she liked everything. When Nana and Poppa came back from church they gave her their Easter Basket, another fun one! She loved everything in there too. Holly will be 2 in two days but today we went and picked up her birthday gift so she got an early present. We bought her the Little Tikes Slide and she LOVES IT!!!! The slide can be used indoors our outside, and Holly LOVES going on the slide so we knew it would be the perfect gift, and it was. It was so fun to see how excited she was when daddy put it together, her face lite up! It was the first time she’s really ever had a reaction like that and we enjoyed it so much. 2 is defiently going to be fun (tough too, but fun). I have a picture of Steve and Holly walking into the pumpkin patch last year on our refrigerator and Holly noticed it earlier in the year and ever since then, she has been asking to go to the Pumpkin Patch. Well it’s finally that time of the year and today we went to the pumpkin patch. We go to Manfredi’s Farm in Westerly and they have a bunch of animals there too and she had so much fun!!! She didn’t want to go near the donkey’s but she was very brave with the goats, sheep and chickens. She would of loved to have gotten closer to the ducks, but that wasn’t possible. Today was moving day, for Holly at least. We finally finished painting her new room and it’s all ready for her. We began by moving her crib into the room this morning, boy was that fun. We were really hoping not to have to take the entire crib apart but we had to unassemble quite a bit of it to get it through the doors. Live and Learn. We’ve decided to move her with the crib first and then when she is nice and settled in there, we’ll get her a bed. Then we had to break for haircuts. I received my new camera the week before the wedding so all the pictures I took were with that and I love it. It’s very similar to my old camera but it’s a newer version so somethings were improved and they changed the way some things worked so I’m still learning. But I am very happy with the pictures it took. Glad I had to get a new one. A few people have asked me how I made money to buy the camera.
