Silly Smile..

In my previous post I mentioned that Allison loves standing, well she still does! And she’s starting to walk along the couch a lot more. She even lets go everynow and then, but I still don’t think she’ll be walking anytime soon. I hope not, I am not ready for that yet! I’m greeted by her standing in her crib whenever I go and get her and she usually has a smile on her face like this….. It’s amazing how fast she is growing! We were all getting better, but not anymore. Steve has a really bad ear infection so he’s on antibiotics and Allison started with a fever again today and she’s still coughing and her nose is running just a bit. Holly is…

We got a LOT of snow today. Holly was so excited. It was supposed to start in the morning but it didn’t begin until about 1pm. Holly took a short nap and when I woke her it was snowing and she was so excited. We put on her old snow suit (she is getting a new one for Christmas but don’t tell her that) and her rain boots because she didn’t like the way the new boots fit her, and out in the snow we went! She wanted to use her sled but there wasn’t enough snow to sled but she had fun anyways………….as you can see! These pictures were taken after only a few hours of snow, we got much more, you’ll see tomorrow….

On Friday Holly went to get her bangs cut (I can’t believe how fast this kids hair grows!!) and I decided to have Betsy take off about 2 1/5 inches from the back. She complains all the time when I brush it because it’s getting really knotty as it gets longer and also in the winter it gets very flyaway with the cold air so less hair to fly away. Holly really didn’t mind cutting a bit and it’s still long, just not as long. I think she looks cute. I know when my father sees it he won’t be happy, he loves long hair on little girls. I finally had the chance to take Allison for her 6 month pictures yesterday, even though she will be 7 months next week! She did a great job, after I change her diaper. She wasn’t too happy taking pictures in a dirty diaper, can’t say I blame her. Here is our little superstar…. Tomorrow I will post our bigger superstar’s pictures since it’s her 3rd Birthday!

Today is our 5th Wedding Anniversary. I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since we were married. Of course those have been 5 WONDERFUL years. My life changed almost 8 years ago when I met my husband. I knew shortly after I met him that we’d be together forever. It just felt right, I didn’t have to be someone I wasn’t, I could totally be myself and it was a great feeling. We had so much fun together when we were dating and we still do today. It’s great to wake up every morning next to the best thing that ever came into my life. That’s what I am… A bad blogger. Sorry. I just don’t get as many good pictures and videos of Holly lately. She’s onto me. When she see’s the camera she runs the other way. I guess after 10,000 pictures in less than 2 years, it gets pretty old. But today, she seemed to be in a good picture taking mood. So I got a few cute shots of her.
