The slacking has continued….

That’s what I am… A bad blogger. Sorry. I just don’t get as many good pictures and videos of Holly lately. She’s onto me. When she see’s the camera she runs the other way. I guess after 10,000 pictures in less than 2 years, it gets pretty old. But today, she seemed to be in a good picture taking mood. So I got a few cute shots of her. I tried really hard because I know that some people are looking at my blog daily just to see another cute picture of Holly. Today was like Holly’s first ever Halloween. Of course in her mind it was because she doesn’t remember Halloween’s of the past even though she’s always enjoyed it. No, it was like she experienced it for the first time today and we LOVED it!! It all began last Tuesday night when we told her that tomorrow was Halloween and she would be going trick or treating with Jakob tomorrow night. She knew Halloween was coming but had no idea when. She woke up this morning (Halloween) and was crying. I asked her what the problem was and she said that it wasn’t trick or treat today. I asked her what she meant and she said that it wasn’t dark out so it wasn’t trick or…

I have a little cookie helper, but she wants to eat the uncooked cookies so it didn’t end to well. But she tried and enjoyed herself for a little while and she loved the cookies the next day. I gave her some of the mini muffin cups and she made her own little cheerio buffet, it was really cute. To think we bought her toys for christmas and she plays with these! LOL

Holly is so funny when I take out the camera lately. Sometimes she hams it up and other times she gets a serious and focuses on something like she’s trying to ignore me. It’s just too cute! I’m so glad I get to spend my days with her and enjoy all these moments. It’s so amazing to watch her develop and grow right before my eyes. And boy is she growing fast! I can’t believe that in 11 days she’ll be 17 months old. How fast did that go by?? Everyone told me it would be fast but boy they didn’t tell me HOW fast. I love this age (except for the mini temper tantrums, but we are working on that). She understands so much…

I have been teaching Holly to hold up 2 fingers to show she is Two years old (One more month to go) and also I’ve been trying to catch on video her counting from 1 to 10. It hasn’t been easy, she doesn’t perform on command. We did try one afternoon this past week but all she was interested in was jumping and climbing up the side of the chair. Here she is….

I’m trying really hard to get into a routine to update here more often, but my life isn’t that exciting to post something every day. I did take some cute pictures of Holly today but I haven’t uploaded them yet and as soon as I do I’ll post them. Here are a few of my more recent scrapbook pages of Holly. Of course they are of Holly, I don’t scrapbook anything but her anymore!! I love paper scrapping but I’m very interested in trying out digital scrappin. I just need a HUGE block of time to sit at my computer and learn, which I don’t have right now. Someday, maybe when Holly is 6. LOL
