Silly Smile..

Holly was enjoying some blueberries this weekend, but it got pretty messy so we moved to the highchair. She had a blue mouth and blue fingers, she looks so cute! I took some pictures of her and she was being so silly. She’s a happy girl even when she’s blue!

The girls were playing and said they were going to have a picnic. Holly lost interest and found something else to do but only after helping her sister set the table. Allison then proceeded to have her picnic, with Zebra. It was absolutely adorable and I’m so glad I got a picture of it. She is going to love looking back at this someday.

I love decorating the tree. It’s one of my favorite things to do this time of year. It’s funny because when I was a kid my mother would make me help her, I remember it so clearly, and I never wanted to help. I’m not sure why but I always had to help her anyways. (I’m sure my mother will comment about how true that is!) Well now I love decorating the tree and I’m glad Holly enjoys helping me. Last year she did a little but this year she really helped. Holly will be 2 in two days but today we went and picked up her birthday gift so she got an early present. We bought her the Little Tikes Slide and she LOVES IT!!!! The slide can be used indoors our outside, and Holly LOVES going on the slide so we knew it would be the perfect gift, and it was. It was so fun to see how excited she was when daddy put it together, her face lite up! It was the first time she’s really ever had a reaction like that and we enjoyed it so much. 2 is defiently going to be fun (tough too, but fun). We are finally getting ready for the Holidays. Christmas seems to be creeping up me and it’s going to be here before I know it. My favorite thing to do is put up the tree. I love my tree and get so excited to do it, but this year, I wasn’t looking forward to it. Just the the thought of taking the time to do it and then thinking how will Holly do with putting things on the tree, not taking them off, then I figured Allison would be grabbing every from the tree and putting it in her mouth. Just not something I wanted to do. Well Sunday was the day and it went VERY well. I really don’t know why I even worried…

Nana and Papa came for a visit Saturday and as usual, Nana came bearing presents for Holly and her baby sister. One of Holly’s presents was a Tutu and a Tiara. Holly LOVED them and immediately wanted to put them on. She looked way too cute and of course I grabbed the camera, and she grabbed Nana’s hand to dance around like a Ballerina. After we all visited for a while, we decided to take a ride to the beach so Holly could play with the pail and shovels that Nana also brought her. It was a little cool there, but not too bad. Of course, Holly didn’t even realize it was cold, she just loves going to the beach and playing in the sand….
