I know it’s been 18 days since I posted. I didn’t have my camera for a few of those days and just got behind. But today I was informed it had been 18 days so I decided to make sure I updated today! Can you believe that Allison is 5 month’s old today. Where is the time going. She’s getting so big so fast and changing so much. Here are our monthly pictures of her with the zebra. Yesterday was my birthday and Holly picked some flowers outside for me. It was the best gift! She was so excited to give them to me. She even helped me put them in a vase and they are so pretty! It was kind of warm out yesterday so we set up the sprinkler and Holly had a blast! I tried to get some cute pictures of her, but she moves so fast it’s not that easy. And finally a picture of Holly and I……I have to get the picture from my mother of Holly, Allison and I, this is all I had on my camera.

Today was my nephew Jonathan’s 1st communion. We ended up getting there a little late because Holly hasn’t been feeling well and we wanted to make sure she had her nap before we left. We didn’t miss much, but I didn’t get to see him walk in. He looked so grown up though! Where did the time go (just like my post the other day). It seems like it was just yesterday we were there, in the same church christening him (he’s my god child too) and now he’s making his 1st communion. Unbelievable!!! While Allison napped today, Holly and I went outside to play in the snow. I made a path for her to slide down the little hill right outside the front door, it’s perfect for sledding. She loves doing it but gets a little nervous the first few times, then she won’t stop. She decided to go down on her back so she closed her eyes, just in case it was scary. She’s so funny! We had a good time. Then she wanted to build a snowman. I haven’t made too many snowmen in the past but I think this one turned out really cute. She’s a girl so really she’s a snow girl. We don’t make boy’s in this house, only girls! Daddy’s out numbered…

I guess you could say that Holly is potty trained. She wears her big girl undies all day except when we go out, then she puts on a pull up even though she doesn’t want to. Until she get’s better at it, I feel better if she has a pull up on. She is even going on the Big Potty and we are so proud, but mommy has to hold her because she is afraid she’ll fall in. She’s doing great and doesn’t even wet her pull up most of the time when she has it on. The only time she does is if she is sleeping, but I know that will get better. We are so proud of her, she caught on really quickly…

Well we’ve realized that we should start trying to Potty Train Holly. Not exactly sure how to go about it but the first step was to open the box with the Potty that’s been sitting in my dining room for 2 months now. So last night I did exactly that, put it together and put it next to the toilet in the bathroom. When it was time for Holly’s bath I said to her… “Do you want to sit on the potty and do pee pee’s?” She got all excited sat down smiled for the camera and then got up. Then she went back, sat down, smiled for the camera again and then got up. We did this about 5 times without any pee pee’s….
